ADO System® CONNECTION TECHNOLOGY
ParticularitiesWith the ADO System® connection twoconductors of the same type and gauge can beconnected.
The PrincipleA non-prepared conductor is pushed into the grip using aspecial tool.The 2 cone-shaped guides ensure that the conductor is perfectlycentred and that the insulating sheath is cut with 2 notches forexposing the conductor’s copper core.Pushed in by the tool, the conductor moves forward between the2 parallel guides that make the electrical contact.
ADO System® technology combines rapid connection with total safety.It is particularly recommended for use in the most difficult environments
Safety / ReliabilityWith the ADO System® tool all connections are first-class and are notsubject to variations in operator performance.The insulation displacement technique eliminates all risks related topreparing conductors and helps to make connections liquid tight as onlythe surface needed for the connection is stripped.All contact materials are in copper (grip + conductor core) so the ADOSystem® is highly corrosion resistant.
RapidityADO System® offers high-speed wire connection(the fastest on the market).No preparation is required for conductors.
The tool cannot be removed from the terminal block until theoperation has been completed correctly.Unlike traditional insulation displacement systems, the ADOSystem® special tool provides total safety.
The connecting tool is available in the followingversions:- Semi-automatic (1) (designed for use in workshops and suitable for use in electrical cabinets).- Pneumatic (2) (designed for production cabling and recommended for use on workbenches.)- Hand (3) (suitable for maintenance and repair work).
It also resists extremely well to vibration.The C-shaped grip always works within itslimits of resilience.Therefore, contact pressure remainsconstant, no matter whether one or twoconductors are inserted.

INSTRUCTION FOR USEAllows connection of two wires of the same gage and type (rigid or flexible) one by one.
A - Connection of the first wire
C - Extraction of wires
Pneumatic tool :
Introduce the wire.
Apply the tool head to theupper opening without forcingits self-alignment device (thetool must be at right angle withthe block).
Operate the handle directly inline with the tool to release aconnect cycle.
NOTE : Wire must be cut clean beforereconnecting it to the terminal block.
Place the hook of the extractor under thewire into the slot of the terminal block.
Slide the wires outside while securingfirmly the block.
Remove the first wire. Repeat operationsabove for a second wire.
