Part of the “Random House Children’s Books Family of Sites”, follow Dr Seuss through his books, videos, games and activities, characters, and news, and learn more about the author himself, even create your own “Who!”. Darren Svanfelds Computer Coordinator Student Identified Resources One of the most pleasing aspects of teaching is when students come into class having gone home and thought about the subjects they are learning in class. Over the last few weeks, three students have shown their interests about the topics they are studying and in doing so have identified some good resources worth sharing with everyone: Braith (4/5A) – Space: Solar System and, Space: Southern Sky poster series.

Jack (4/5A): Solar System – A Visual Exploration Of The Planets, Moons, And Other Heavenly Bodies That Orbit Our Sun. Beau (5/6M): The Weather Atlas Book. Thank you boys for your contributions. Mr Svanfelds Science Teacher

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads!! I hope that you enjoy your special gifts from the Father’s Day Stall. Thanks to Zoe and her helpers for organising this stall. Our next P&C meeting is on Monday, 2 September, from 6 to 8pm in the Gallery of Learning. The Principals from Randwick Girls’ and Boys’ High Schools will be talking during Connect Time. TRAC kindly provides free childcare for the meeting – please contact Tanya by email on [email protected] by Friday 30/8/13. Volunteers are still needed for the P&C fundraising BBQ and cake stall on Saturday 7 September when the school is used as a polling place for the Federal Election. We particularly need helpers between 1pm and 3 pm. Please email me on [email protected] if you are able to help. All funds raised will help to buy literacy resources for the school.
