The Winter Fair August 20th - 12 days away!

ALL DAY RIDE PASSES -‐ Get your all day ride passes, $20 per child if purchased now, or $25 on the day. Just fill in the aFached DAY PASS ORDER FORM and return it to the Office with your money by Friday 19th August. Ride pass receipts will be handed out the Friday before the Fair. Bring your receipt to the Ticket Booth on Fair Day to collect your Ride Pass. (If receipts are lost, Ride Passes will be issued from our Master List, so don't worry!).

GOAT POO LOTTO -‐ We've been waiYng two months now to find out 'Where will Billi Goat Poo?" The wait is nearly over! If you haven't already, check the Goat Poo LoFo Grid in the Office to see which numbers are sYll available and choose your lucky grid number. Submit your entry with $10 to be in the running for a $400 cash prize! Goat Poo LoFo Tickets will be issued the Friday before the Fair. Join us at Billi Goat's pen on Fair day as he picks his winner! Who knows where Billi Goat will poo?!

SUSTAINABLE SNOWMAN -‐ Don’t forget to get to work on your ‘snowman’ made of sustainable materials! There’s great prizes to be won: 1st is a $400 beach ride voucher from Seahorses Riding School and Cool Planet; 2nd is a $250 voucher from Crystal Castle and 3rd is a whale watching tour for 2 people from Whale Watching Byron Bay valued at $190. The Entry Form is on our school website. Bring your entries to the Fair on the day for display and judging.

WINTER WONDERLAND -‐ Our amazing recycled Igloo will feature a Winter Slide Show inside for Fair patrons to view. If you would like your snow or winter photos to be included in the slide show, please email them to [email protected]

Dear Parents / CarersSicknessOver the past week or so many students have been coming to school sick, with some presenting to sick bay within minutes of arriving. If your child is sick, please keep them at home until they are better. Our sick bay is only designed to cope with unforeseen injury or illness which may occur during the course of the day.Education Week Thank you to parents who were able to join us for Open Classrooms last Thursday and visited the hall to see what our students have been up to in music with Mrs Swain. Due to the nature of our L3 program operating across K-2, these classes often enjoy many parents working with them on a daily basis, however it was nice to also see some of our 3-6 parents able to share some learning time with their child/ren at school.Another component of Education Week is our Book Fair. Many thanks to everyone who visited the library at some stage during the week and purchased something from the Book Fair. It was also nice to receive many positive comments about the wonderful improvements Ms Austin has made to the library learning environment during her time here so far. 2017 Kindergarten It has been great to show 2017 Kindergarten students and their parents around our school. Ms Brown, Mr Lindsay and myself will be accompanying our school team. PSSA SportBest wishes to our girls who are playing their 3rd round cricket match today in Mullumbimby. Raife, Harrison and Charlie are at Murwillumbah today representing at PSSA North Coast Golf. Good luck boys. We have some great rides lined up for you at this year’s Mullumbimby Public School Winter Fair on Saturday, August 20. There will be:

✴ The spooky Bat Tower ✴ The family-favourite Super Slide ✴ The dazzling Cup & Saucer Ride ✴ A giant Caveman Capers Obstacle Course ✴ The toddlers’ Jungle Fever Jumping Castle

And for a great day of fun, you can purchase a ALL DAY RIDE PASS for $20. The pass must be purchased NOW to take advantage of this price. On the day of the Fair, Ride

Passes will be sold for $25 and single tickets for $5.

The rides will be operating from 11.00am to 3.00pm.

AND HERE’S HOW TO GET YOUR PASS

Simply fill in the slip below and return to the Office with your payment by Friday August 19. We will issue you with a receipt and record your name on the Master List. On the day of the Winter Fair, you just have to hand in your receipt to the Ticket Booth and receive

your ride pass.

Remember, the earlier you get your pass, the earlier the fun begins! Day Passes will be available at the Ticket Booth from 10.30am.
