DescriptionThe ground floor plan, together with the site analysis, shows the ground floor of the getaway in relation to its surrounding context.
1. The purple arrows indicate the circulation of users from the main tar road into the getaway. The placement of the entrance at the highest point allows users to assess the getaway easily. Moreover, the stairs which follows the shape of the contour provides a smooth circulation from the entrance to the patio or the dining area.
2. The entrance allows users to view the meranti trees on site as well as the dining area at a single location.
3. The reception hall allows users to the upper floor (living room) as well as the lower floor (kitchen) at a single location.
4. Benches are provided at the patio to allow users to view the meranti trees on site from multiple directions and angles.
5. The dining area which is located near the patio allows users to view the trees while having meals, providing a relaxing setting and mood for mealtimes.

The first floor plan, together with the site analysis, shows the first floor of the getaway in relation to its surrounding context.
1. The arrows indicate the direction of sunlight which penetrates the getaway at the specific openings made to illuminate the interior spaces.
2. The location of the living room allows users to view the meranti trees on site at a higher location.
3. The benches provided at the space in between the living room and bedroom are strategically placed to allow the users to admire the view towards the left and right of the getaway through the windows as well as specific openings.
4. The bedroom is designed to face the west to allow the western breeze to constantly ventilate and cool the space. The openings also allow the western breeze to flow from the bedroom to other spaces, ensuring that the getaway is well ventilated.
