Inge Jan Henjesand, President of BI Norwegian Business School, is doctorate in economics from NHH in 1996 with professional background in marketing, strategy and management. Henjesand had key leadership positions at BI in the period 1998 - 2007, as head of the Department of Marketing, Executive Vice President of Research and Academic Resources and as Provost and Acting President. Henjesand comes from a position as Vice Chairman and Director of research, innovation and industrial policy in Abelia, a position he has held since 2008. Henjesand can point to a number of boards, committees and committee work, and most of these are related to the education, college, university - and the research sector.
Trond Randøy is Professor of International Business and Finance at University of Agder in Kristiansand, Norway. Professor Randøy has a PhD from the Norwegian School of Economics and an MBA from the University of Oregon. He has authored more than 50 articles in journals such as; Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Journal of World Business, Journal of Business Ethics, and Journal of Banking and Finance.
Mr. Eivind Fjeldstad is the CEO of the Norwegian-African Business Association (NABA) since 2011. He has an MA in African Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, focusing on governance and politics in Africa, and a BA in African Studies with a specialization in Human Geography from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. In 2016/17 Mr. Fjeldstad served as President of the European Business Council for Africa and the Mediterranean (EBCAM) – an Brussels-based umbrella organisation with ten like minded associations across Europe, together gathering 4000 European investors/companies working in and with Africa.
Prior to establishing NABA, Mr. Fjeldstad worked for 15 months as an advisor on Pemba/Zanzibar, Tanzania, observing the political development on the isles. He spent six months interning at the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Addis Ababa, mainly working with the embassy’s election portfolio and business promotion.
Rotem Shneor is an associate professor at the University of Agder (UiA) School of Business and Law in Norway, and serves as the academic director of the university’s Center of Entrepreneurship. He holds a PhD in International Management from UiA and a Master's of International Business from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).In recent years, he has been leading the Nordic Crowdfunding Alliance of platforms since 2014, as well as serving as an associate researcher at the Cambridge University Center for Alternative Finance. He is a popular speaker and media commentator on issues related to crowdfunding in the Nordic countries, and has been holding talks and seminars in more than a dozen countries.
Ilan Alon is Professor of Strategy and International Marketing at the School of Business and Law at the University of Agder. He holds a Ph.D. from Kent State University (USA). Alon is a researcher in the field of international business with a focus on internationalization, modes of entry, political risk, cultural intelligence and emerging markets. His publications have appeared in journals, such as Harvard Business Review, Management International Review, International Business Review, Journal of International Marketing, and International Marketing Review. His books are published by Palgrave, Routledge, McGraw-Hill and others.
Honest Prosper Ngowi is Associate Professor of Economics, researcher and consultant in Economics and Business at Mzumbe University, Tanzania. He has researched, consulted, written (over 50 major works), published and lectured widely on various areas of economics and business including macro-and micro- economics; international trade; managerial economics; Foreign Direct Investments (FDIs); The New/knowledge Economy; Entrepreneurship; Informal Sector; Privatization; Public Private Partnerships (PPPs); Executive Agencies in Service Delivery; Project Management; Unlocking Economic Growth Potentials; Shared Economic Growth; University-Industry Linkages; Funding Civil Societies; Mainstreaming HIV/AIDS in Curricula and Workplaces; East African Common Market; Economic Impacts of HIV/AIDS; Public Expenditure Review Systems (PETS); Poverty; the Current Global Financial and Economic Crisis (over 8 papers and 50 newspaper/magazine articles) and many others. He has been in the academic, research and consultancy industry for over fourteen (15) years.
