Tent Extendable Modular Personnel – Type I 8340-01-212-9468 Type I – 64’ x 20’ Army Surgical Work Area (Tan)

The Tent Extendable Modular Personnel (TEMPER) is an aluminum framed supported tent made of vinyl coated polyester duck cloth that is fire, mildew and water resistant. The outer cloth is also visual and electronic suppressive with blackout coated for protection against night optic vision gear. The colors specified have spectral reflectance properties that will camouflage it against the intended terrain. The TEMPER is designed so that it can be extended in 8 ft. increments and set up in multiple configurations. The 8 ft. long extendable middle section comes with either a window or door on each sidewall. The roof panels feature either a stovepipe shield for a standard 4" stovepipe (temperate sections) or two large screened panels for extra ventilation (desert/tropical). Both have weather seal flaps. The liners have a bright white interior and a extra blackout lamination for a tactical environment. The roof fly helps shield the tent from the elements. TYPE I KEY FEATURES: - Made of vinyl coated polyester duck cloth that is fire, mildew and water resistant - Plenums have cloth heating and air conditioning ductwork - Floors consist of single ply cloth and foam insulated cloth both with anti-skid properties - Vestibules have becket and lace connectors that can provide a blackout entrance or connect to other tents as

Type I Description: The tan Type I TEMPER is an army surgical work area tent that is 20 ft. wide by 64 ft. long. It has 8 vestibules and weighs 4086 pounds. The end walls feature a door that zips closed and has a 54 in. wide and 6 ft. 11 in. height opening. Two polymer windows with screening and weather seal blackout flaps are located on each end section. This tent has a shipping cube of 320 cu. ft.
