Groups of Key Clubbers traveled to our elementary

schools from Monday the 27th to Wednesday the

20th to spread awareness of the Eliminate Project.

We were met with great success and positive re-

actions. Ms. Pelaez-Martinez, a teacher here at

THS, posted on our Facebook page “Hey guys, just

wanted to say great job today with

the UNICEF boxes. My daughter came home excit-

ed to help and has already made a donation from

her piggy bank”.

Our LTG Jae Shin has organized an interdivisional

volleyball tournament with the LTG of Division 16,

David Guirgis! This event will take place at Tenafly

High School on November 22nd from 1:30—5:00pm.

Tickets are $5 each. ANYONE in high school is al-

lowed to play to represent our division! Team up in

groups of 6-8 with at least 1 Key Club member to

participate. THERE WILL BE PRIZES

Thrill the World Recap

Thrill the World is an annual worldwide cele-

bration of Michael Jackson's famous song,

Thriller. In this event, we all learn how to

dance to the song and then dance at the

same time as thousands of other people

around the world on October 25th at exactly

6:00pm. It's a great annual celebration of

Halloween and this awesome song!

Tenafly’s third annual Zombie Run is hap-

pening on Saturday, November 8th behind

the Middle School at 3pm. Get pumped

because there would be a face-painting

stand to bring out your inner zombie and a

plethora of delicious refreshments.

Get your tickets by seeking out members.

More than 20 Key Clubbers are selling bun-

dles of 1 ticket to Zombie Run and 1 ELMIN-

IATE bracelet for $5 each. The money we

raise will go to the Eliminate Project.

The rules are simple: don’t get caught by

people with face paint on (our “zombies”).

There will be a trail laid out around the en-

tire middle school. Navigate carefully, for

there will be zombies waiting to ambush

you around in every corner!

Talk to Daniel Cohen if you want to sign up

to volunteer at this event!

Movember

Coming up is one of Key Club’s most

extensive events of the year! Movember

is a fundraising project that spans the

entire month of November. In collabo-

ration with Mr. Millar and around 10

other teachers, we are working to raise

awareness for men’s health. Throughout

the month, male teachers would grow

out their facial hair, and female teach-

ers will wear fake moustaches. Donate

a few cents to the teacher you want to

see with mustache! The results may be

very surprising!

On Thursday, October 30th, many Key

Clubbers stayed after the meeting to

participate in a mini-service event to

make fake paper moustaches and rib-

bons for the upcoming fundraiser. Stay

alert for more ways you can help out!
