Compressed Synthetic Fibre (CSF) sheet gasket materials contain a rubber binder which is subject to ageing at temperature and over time. As a result, these materials exhibit a loss of fl exibility at elevated temperature which can lead to failure in service.In the past, this ageing process was compensated for by a high content of asbestos fi bers (up to 75%) so that even though the rubber binder lost fl exibility over time, the materials’ characteristics remained stable. The content of non-asbestos fi bers in CSF materials is much lower, in part due to their higher expense and in part due to processing limitations, with the resultant loss of volume fi lled with cheaper agents and powder fi llers such as china clay, barite, talcum powder, silicon and magnesium oxides. Any loss of fl exibility of the binder system will therefore be refl ected in the material performance.

Temasil Titan is a revolutionary material which overcomes the limitations of traditional CSF material by incorporation of a unique binder system. The material exhibits outstanding fl exibility, even at high continuous temperatures, excellent chemical resistance and high levels of gas tightness.

Temasil Titan is a universal gasketing material suitable for fuel, steam,

gas, water, hydrocarbons, solutions of organic and anorganic acids, refrigerants and lubricant (grease).The excellent characteristics of the material have been verifi ed with the test results as per TA Luft VDI Guide Line 2440 Edition November 2000. TEMAC are represented in China by the Shanghai Victory Fluid Technology Co. ltd, who are responsible for the production and distribution of TEMAC products within this market. Since launching TEMAC products in 2007 the company has grown rapidly and recently invested in new warehouse facilities for the storage of TEMAC sheeting. This allows the company to supply product to customers within less than 12 hours of receipt of order. Fingersaver Every day, in many industries, employees sustain hand and fi nger injuries that are preventable and so using the correct safety device should be an essential part of everyday life.

The Fingersaver is a safety tool that is designed to prevent injuries to fi ngers during fl ange assembly. It works by keeping hands away from the impact position of the hammer on fl ogging spanners and from pinch points when using impact wrenches and hydraulic torque equipment. The product was initially developed by an Exxon employee after hearing of a fi nger injury at their Rotterdam facility but is now used throughout the world by many

of the leading oil, chemical and power companies.

The rings are used in valves and high speed rotary pumps for a variety of media including steam, hydrocarbons, inorganic and organic acids and oils. They can be used up to 550 Deg C and in fl uids with the full range of pH (0-14)

TEMAC graphite moulded rings are made to precise densities and dimensions. The company has the

capability to manufacture the rings in diameters from 14mm to 45 mm and in a range of densities from 1.2 to 1.6 g/cm3. All rings are produced using expanded high purity graphite foil without the use of binders, elastomers or fi llers.
