Comparative Information• Will not crack, rot or separate in any outdoor environ-

ment.• Has zero porosity and will not absorb water.• Color pigment is all through the material, so a slightly

scratched surface is less noticeable.• Presents no fi re hazard. It must be preheated before

ignition occurs.• Resistant to most chemicals.• Collection uses all stainless steel hardwareEnvironmental Information• Contains over 30% recycled resin. The use of some

virgin resin insures quality and consistency in the fi nal product.

• The raw materials, equipment and processes emit no harmful gases or byproducts into the atmosphere.

• Material waste is recycled back into the original product.

• Fabricating and cutting produces no harmful dust, but instead small shavings that can be recycled.

• Contains no known harmful substances, including carcino-gens, toxins or bioaccumulative materials. If burned, no harmful gases are emitted.

A fresh classic Adirondack look with the worry-free construction of Telescope Marine Grade Polymer. Rather than constructing our MGP Adirondack Collection from resin boards like our competitors, Telescope uses state of the art technology to create a product that has the extra level of fi nish and quality Telescope is known for. With our construction the product starts life as a thick dense sheet which is then sculpted using CNC computer controlled routers into our marine grade polymer Adirondack Collection. We take pride in our MGP products for their fi t and fi nish with little to no exposed hardware. This collection coordinates with our Adirondack MGP Sling collection.

Bob Vanderminden Sr. - Innovative DesignerIn 1953, Bob Vanderminden changed the design world forever with his unique slip on Director Chair seat/back design. This innovative dowelled fabric and grooved slot system allowed customers to easily choose from a wide variety of colors and customize their Director Chairs right in the store! This caused the popularity of the Director Chair to explode. Years later Bob applied this system to aluminum furniture creating the fi rst dowelled sling in grooved extrusion that is now the standard of the industry. The Telescope Director Chair has been and still is “The Chair” for the movie and entertainment industry. Not only are the chairs made of the best quality materials, they are also completely made at our manufacturing facility in Granville, NY.

Telescope’s Green EffortsOver 30 years ago Bob was instrumental in the design of the company’s boiler system. It heats the facility using our own wood scraps, rather than burning oil (saving 24 million gallons of fuel oil)! Telescope also owns and manages its 8,300-acre forest in upstate New York and Vermont. It’s managed as a sustainable resource by the same people who love to hike the trails.

Frame Finishes Varnish, White, Black, Walnut Stain, Rustic Grey. The white frame has 3 coats of enamel paint, the black frame has 2 coats of enamel paint with a commercial urethane varnish top coat. The varnish frame has 2 coats of clear commercial urethane fi nish, and the walnut stain and rustic grey frames have 1 coat of stain with 2 coats of commercial urethane varnish.

All back covers have a non-sag feature. One size seat and back fi ts all Director Chairs.

Quality standards are maintained and improved by independent lab testing and Telescope’s own testing facilities.

The seating material slips into a spe-cially designed groove. No tools are needed.

All frames are select, kiln-dried solidhardwoods. They are shaped and hand sanded.

The tapered, shaped legs are nailed securely into a beveled seat block with mortise and tenon style joinery.

All wood parts are precision-milled, pressed together and nailed for maximum rigidity.

The arm and chair framing folds down com-pactly and packs easily into a box. Extra-strong leg braces are nailed

securely into the legs.

Extra heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant, zinc-plated steel braces are 50% stronger than previous braces.

This brochure is intended to be used in conjunction with the 2012/2013 Sunbrella Upholstery Fabrics Picture Catalog. Once the fabric is located in the Sunbrella catalog, find the fabric on the first 3 pages of this brochure using the Swatch # and the Sunbrella #. This brochure will also tell you Telescope’s pattern number for that fabric and the Price Grade of the fabric. *Name* after the Sunbrella name denotes fabric name currently used in the Telescope 2012 stock fabric line. For fabrics in our 2012 line, the grade published here is the same as in our 2012 Price Index. Fabrics not stocked by us will carry a higher grade to account for the special handling costs. The remaining 9 pages of this brochure list the Price Index for every grade for every eligible item. IMPORTANT: Due to the custom nature of these products, orders may not be cancelled or changed after the order is acknowledged. Telescope has greatly expanded our Contract Furniture offer-ings. Whether you want to create an outdoor bistro dining experi-ence, a comfortable outdoor gathering area or a poolside lounge, collections are available for your property’s contract/commercial furniture needs. We have a wide range of Strap, Wicker, Marine Grade Polymer, Cast and Contract Sling collections to choose from as well as an expansive collection of contract quality tables. Refer to our contract catalog for a complete listing of Telescope’s contract offering.

We offer a two-day Telescope Truckload Sale for Saturday and Sunday, utilizing one of Telescope’s graphic trucks. Dealers that have taken advantage of this special offer have experienced high traffic, high dollar sales events. There will be no additional expense to you for the use of our truck. It must be a full truckload order. The freight rate for this truck will be subject to Telescope Freight Program as published for the 2013 season. Telescope will pick up the cost of the truck staying on site for the sale. In the event that you have any merchandise left after the sale, it would go into your warehouse. You must advertise this event. Telescope Truckload Sale line art and color photos can be downloaded from our digital library on our Web site. To help defer the advertising cost, Telescope will offer a special 50/50 co-op advertising program for this event. The maximum media expense for Telescope is $1000 per “Truckload Sale.” Only newspaper advertise-

ments, inserts, radio and television will qualify for this co-op credit. With your truckload shipment, we will include our 18 ft. Telescope balloon (see insert above) to help promote this special event. A usage agreement must be completed before use of the balloon is permitted. This program is for the northeast, extending south to Florida, and as far west as Chicago.

Limited Warranty Frames and Powder Coat: If your Telescope powder coat aluminum frame or marine grade polymer frame fails structur-ally during normal usage within the applicable warranty period (as defined below), we will repair, refinish or replace the frame without charge, parts and labor included. (In the case of discontinued models or finishes, we will replace the item with the closest comparable current model.) Products covered by our frame warranty are identified in our catalog as either 15/5, 15/3, 15/1 or no identification at all. 15/5 indicates a frame warranty period of 15 years in residential use/5 years in contract use. 15/3 indicates a frame warranty period of 15 years in residential use/3 years in contract use. 15/1 indicates a frame warranty period of 15 years in residential use/1 year in contract use. No indication indicates a frame warranty period of 1 year in residential use and that there is no frame warranty in contract use. All warranty periods commence on the date of purchase. Contract use includes any rental, business, commercial, institutional, or other non-residential use. The powder coat finish on our powder coat aluminum frame furniture is warranted against peeling, cracking or blistering for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase. Failure of the powder coat finish due to abrasion, including abrasion caused by stack-ing the furniture against other furniture or scraping against other surfaces, is not covered by this warranty. The following products are not covered by our frame and powder coat warranties: table tops, umbrellas, umbrella bases, wood furniture, cushions, slings, straps, wicker fibers, and folding aluminum furniture. Non-Glass Table Tops: Non-glass table tops are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects for 3 years from date of purchase, except Werzalit table tops which are warranted for 1 year from date of purchase. Fading or staining of the table surface is not included under warranty. Tables must not be stored upside down. Umbrellas and Umbrella Bases: Umbrella frames and umbrella bases are warranted to be free of manufacturing defects for either 1 year or 3 years from the date of purchase, as identified in our catalog and price lists by the following indicators: 3/3 indicates 3 years in residential use/3 years in contract use; 1/1 indicates 1 year in residential use/1 year in contract use. Cast iron and steel bases, if not properly maintained, will rust if the finish is scratched through to the metal. Umbrella covers/fabric are war-ranted to be free from manufacturing defects for 1 year from the date of purchase. Wood Furniture, Cushions, Slings, and Folding Aluminum Furniture: Wood furniture, cushions, slings, and folding alumi-num furniture are warranted to be free of manufacturing defects for 1 year from the date of purchase in residential use only. They are not warranted for contract use. Vinyl Straps: Vinyl straps are warranted against breakage and gross discoloration for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase. In the case of breakage or gross discoloration (our judgment), replacement straps will be provided but labor is not included. Wicker Fibers: Wicker fibers featured in our Wicker Collections are warranted by the fiber manufacturer for either 3 years or 2 years from the date of purchase. Please refer to our Price Index or contact our Customer Service Department for details on this wicker fiber war-ranty. Other Warranty Limitations and Exclusions: The natural weathering of wood finishes, breakage of glass, fading, staining and mildewing of fabrics, slings and strapping, the compression of cushion fillings, and the rusting of umbrella bases are not cov-ered under our warranties. Freeze or ice damage is not covered by our warranties. Furniture stored outside or in other cold storage should be drained of any water. If allowed to freeze inside the furniture, water can damage the tubing. These warranties do not cover the failure of furniture caused by acts of God, accident, neglect, improper shipping or handling, or by unreasonable or abusive use, and these warranties are void if our care and maintenance instructions were not properly fol-lowed. Furniture used in a contract (commercial) setting is not warranted unless it is specifically designated for contract or com-mercial use in our catalog. All warranties are to the original purchaser from authorized dealers only. Warranties are not transferable. Warranties are for repair, replacement or substitution only, in our sole discretion. Warranty service of any kind does not extend the warranty period. THESE WARRANTIES ARE IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIM-ITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN NO EVENT WILL TELESCOPE CASUAL FURNITURE, INC. BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, EVEN IF IT HAD REASON TO KNOW IN ADVANCE THAT SUCH DAMAGES WERE POSSIBLE. THESE WARRANTIES GIVE YOU SPE-CIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS AND YOU MAY HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM JURISDICTION TO JURISDICTION. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR THE LIMITATION OF DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE EXCLUSION AND LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. IN THE EVENT THE WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS DO NOT APPLY TO YOU, THEN, WHERE LEGALLY PERMISSIBLE, SUCH WARRANTIES ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE APPLICABLE WARRANTY PERIOD AND NO WARRANTIES APPLY AFTER THAT PERIOD. How to Obtain Warranty Service: To obtain service, contact our Customer Service Department in writing at Telescope Casual Furniture, Inc., 82 Church Street, Granville, NY 12832 or email to [email protected], stating the problem, providing pictures and providing proof of purchase. A Return Merchandise Authorization will be sent to you giving instructions for returning items if necessary. No returns will be accepted by our factory without prior written authorization from our Customer Ser-vice Department. After authorization is received your furniture must be returned to the factory in proper packaging, freight prepaid.
