What is Telecentres perspective

ICT is not part of the culture and not

a priority.

Limited number of student in school

classrooms in rural areas because

major of them working farming

and ranching .

Telecentres perspective-

continue

there are many villages that do not have schools

or any basic services. More than 16 % of the

population are persons with disabilities... These

challenges forced Sudan goverment and its

partners to find ways to tackle these problems

and that’s the main reasons to establish

Telecentres.

Government initiatives

Infrastructure :-

920 Schools connected with internet

21,860 computers distributed for secondary

schools, ( 14 devices per school) for Council of

ICT development ()

The ministry of Education has distributed more

than 18000 computers

There are 2 television channels to broadcast

educational material
