How the cooperative learning can be done in class room?By giving some techniques which cooperate students’ activity in learning process such in a group or pair. Here some techniques which can be applied in class room:

Jigsaw

In this technique, each group member is assigned to become an "expert" on some aspect of a unit of study. After reading about their area of expertise, the experts from different groups meet to discuss their topic, and then return to their groups and take turns teaching their topics to their groupmates.

Numbered-Heads-Tpgether (NHT)

This cooperative learning strategy promotes discussion and both individual and group accountability. After direct instruction of the material, the group supports each member and provides opportunities for practice, rehearsal, and discussion of content material.

Think-Pair-Share (TPS)

Students pair up to share thoughts on a problem or question initiated by the teacher. This can be modified to involve pairs of students exchanging ideas to enrich the discussion.

Stay-Stray

In this technique students will learn in group and it give opportunity the group to share result and information to the others group. Based on individual activity in teaching and learning the students do their task by themself and not allowed to cheat to the other students.

Round Robin

This technique is designed to give everyone in the group an equal chance at participation. Starting with one participant, each person gets 1-3 minutes going clockwise or counterclockwise, to present their point of view.

Conclusions

• Cooperative Learning involves structuring classes around small groups that work together in such a way that each group member's success is dependent on the group's success. There are different kinds of groups for different situations, but they all balance some key elements that distinguish cooperative learning from competitive or individualistic learning.

• Jigsaw: each group member is assigned to become an "expert" on some aspect of study.

• NHT: the group supports each member and provides opportunities for practice, rehearsal, and discussion of content material.

• TPS: students pair up in discussing a topic that given by teacher, after that present or share in front of the class.

• Stay-stray: students will learn in group and it give opportunity the group to share result and information to the others group.

• Round Robin: This technique formed a small group and each group consisted of four or six members. Next, all groups made around. Then, each member would share about a topic which was determined by the teacher.
