Post an MBA, you can go for the “non-technical areas” in an IT company, like business nalysis/consulting, pre sales/sales or the traditional areas like HR, marketing, finance etc. Your prior experience in the IT area will make it easier for you to find a
good position in the former areas as compared to the latter (traditional) ones.

You could look at a regular HR role in any company
including IT companies where mostly you’ll start
in the recruitment or a generalist role. The other
option is to look at the role of a business analyst focused
on the HR function in an IT department/firm,
where you act as a bridge between the business and
the IT teams and analyse the business needs, requirements
etc.
