SO… IS TECHNOLOGY EFFECTIVE???
According to Cradler and Bridgforth, 1994, technology is effective in the
following ways…
• “Increases the preparation of students for most careers and vocations”
• “Improves attitude and confidence -- especially for 'at risk' students”
• “Increases student collaboration on projects”
• “Significantly improves student problem solving skills”
• “Improves writing skills and attitudes about writing for urban LEP students”
YES, TECHNOLOGY IS EFFECTIVE….
But• Teachers have to be properly trained
& • The technology has to fit the lesson

IS TECHNOLOGY COST EFFECTIVE???
True… technology is pricy!
It is also true that a lot of technologies are free! If you have internet access in your classroom, you have recourses! You just might have to do
some research
Free examples:Skype
Youtube
CONCLUSION
Technology’s benefits• Improves problem solving skills• Boosts confidence
Technology is cost effective• When we utilize free online software• With a little research
Technology is effective
• when used effectively
• When taught effectively
Any way you slice it, technology in the classroom is a great idea!
