Part Two: Spring Spacer

Remove spring with spanner 13 & 15mm

Put some Loctite on screws (if available)

Install spacer

Part Three: New Mast locks 22809230 Latch, mast RH 122809248 Latch, mast LH 195923314 Nut,hex self-lock .31-18UNC 2

Parts

Remove bolts for cover with spanner 13mm (2X)

Open cover

Disconnect springs (2X)

Remove mast locks with spanner 13mm and Allen key 5mm

Install new ones Note the sequence of the washers

• Install springs

• Close cover

• Secure with bolts

• Test the locks by rising and lowering the mast. Check that the locks fall into the pins.

Part Four: Rubber Gutter

Parts

Drill upper rivets with drill 5 mm and cut head (6X)

Remove door and drill out rivets from hinges (9X)

Reinstall the hinge together with the rubber as shown above

Make sure that the hinge is in the correct position when you install

Note: small holes on the top!

Rivet

Install the door on the hinge together with the rubber as shown above

Note: The installation of the rubber gutter can

be done by one person but it is advisable to ask for some assistance!

Install the boots on the light switches

Part Five: Cable support

Dismantle the junction box with spanner 30mm

Remove bar with spanner 30mm (2X) and remove junction box support

Protection

Install new junction box support and bar

Reinstall junction box on new support

Place a cable clamp on each side of the support. Install first the rubber protection on the cable!

Part Six: Cable tensioner

Look for this proximity switch and follow the cable until you reach the connections with the

junction box

Disconnect the two cables of the proximity switch.

Note: the proximity switch can be removed from the machine.

Install a jumper between the two cables coming from the junction box

Push the “lower mast” button so that the cable becomes slack on the winch. ± 0.5 meter

Disconnect the “-“from the battery

Dismantle the junction box from the support with spanner 10mm

Put junction box aside

Dismantle winch (5X) with spanner 13mm & 15 mm

Put winch aside

Remove old support (3X) spanner 13 mm and install new one using the same bolts.

Note: The bolts are self tapping.

Reinstall the winch

Install the tensioner switch

Connect the two wires of the switch to the two wires coming out of the junction box (former proximity

switch connection)

There is no polarity. Do not mind the colors!

Reinstall the junction box with spanner 10 mm

Reconnect the “-“of the battery

Carefully roll up the cable on the winch! Make sure the cable does not get pinched during the roll-up!

• Test the full operation of the light tower
