Isotec Vostok is a dynamically developing company manufacturing the technical insulation based on mineral wool under the ISOTEC trademark. The company is a joint-venture of the international concerns Saint-Gobain (ISOVER trademark) and Isoroc (ISOROC trademark). At the company facilities located in Egorievsk, Tambov and Chelyabinsk, a complete line of Stonewool and fiberglass slabs, mats and pipes are being made. Our manufacture is equipped with up-to-date high-technology equipment, we use the high quality raw materials only, which allow us to make fibers of the highest quality. ISOTEC heat insulating materials have high thermophysical and operating characteristics, meet the strictest requirements of the today’s production operations.

ECOLOGICAL SAFETY

ISOTEC technical insulation products are safe for human health and environment.

MATS are flexible heat insulating products, which are supplied in rolls, can be stitched with steel wire, fiber glass filaments or fiberglass roving (wired mats) and have a revetment of one or both sides from various materials (wire screen, foil, glass fibre fabric, glass cloth etc). In corrugated mats the general orientation of fibres is perpendicular to the basic surfaces of the product, which gives an additional elasticity and considerably reduces the slab deformation during installation on convoluted surfaces. The mats are used for heat insulation of pipelines and equipment of the industrial facilities. The products are wrapped around the insulated surface and are attached with pins, bandages or wire rings depending on design type.

SLABS are heat insulating products rectangular in shape in shape with rectangular cross-section. The slab thickness is significantly lesser than other sizes and invariable with regard to the entire product. The labs are normally used for insulation of flat surfaces of the equipment, large tanks and rectangular ducts.

PiPeS are the heat insulating products cylindrical in shape, which can be produced without coatings or with the coatings made of various materials. The most spread are the pipes usually coated with aluminium foil. The heat insulating pipes are designed for use as heat-, sound insulation and fire protection of smoke stacks, pipelines, gas ducts of the industrial and electric power equipment. The pipes have usually a lengthwise cut due to what it is convenient to mount them on the pipeline.

ISOTEC products have high sound-absorbing properties and may be used for noise level reduction in various industries.

SOUND INSULATION

CHEMICAL RESISTANCE

ISOTEC mineral wool has neutral infiltrate wool array medium, does not react with all known oils and solvents, resistant to subacid and sour environments, is absolutely resistant to sulfate-alkaline media, is no chemical reaction catalyst or ingibitor. These factors cause the high chemical resistance of ISOTEC products - ability to maintain their structure when exposed to various organic substances, petroleum derivatives, solvents, solutions of moderate acids and alkalis.

ChARACTERISTICS OF TEChNICAL INSULATION ISOTEC

The basic parameter of quality heat insulating materials is the heat conductivity factor. The heat conductivity is an ability of the material to conduct the heat. The less the heat conductivity factor, the higher its ability to maintain the heat. The ISOTEC materials have the low heat conductivity factor. They can maintain the high heat insulating properties under various conditions.

ISOTEC mineral wool have an excellent hydrophobic property, i.e. ability to not to be watered. Even if some moisture gets into the wool, it will easily evaporated due to water-repellent properties and excellent vapor permeability. This allows to restore completely the heat insulating characteristics of the material after drying.

ISOTEC mineral wool shows perfect fire-protection properties, i.e. ability to withstand high temperature exploration without inflammation, structural rupture, strength and other properties. ISOTEC materials are used for fire-prevention insulation, when particular requirements are imposed to fire-resistance rating of building structures and engineering systems.

STRENGTH

One of the basic properties of ISOTEC materials is the deformation resistance during compression and stretching, vibration resistance, by virtue of which the insulation characteristics of the material are maintained.

CORROSION RESISTANCE

The mineral wool heat insulation does not contribute to corrosion occurrence, as it prevents from access of the moisture and other aggressive substances to metal surfaces. Different coatings of heat insulating materials enhance even more their manufacturability and reduce the risk of corrosion occurrence.

Flexible heat insulating products with the mantle made of a mesh mechanically joined with heat insulating material. ISOTEC Industrial slab S100 is usedas heat insulation and fire protection of vertical tank roofs, technological equipment, heat exchangers, rectangular gas ducts, horizontal, vertical and inclined surfaces of equipment, including sea vessels and floating constructions.

FIRE pROTECTION SLAbS

Heat insulation and fire protection mineral wool products rectangular in shape and cross-section.

ISOTEC Fire Protect Concrete is used as heat insulation and fire protection of reinforced-concrete slabs of floor structures, columns, frame works in engineering and enclosing envelopes of buildings and constructions. The slab can withstand the compressive loads of up to 25kPa.

The material is attached to a reinforced-concrete hollow-core slab using anchoring fastening elements designed for attachment of fire protection slabs to enclosing envelops made of concrete and brick laying. During installation the length of the fixing element is selected based on the ISOTEC Fire Protection slab thickness. To ensure the persistence breakout force, all anchors (irrespective of length) have identical brace zone of not less than 50 mm long. After fastening, the fire protection material slabs may be coated with any nonflammable decorative coating.

Unstressed heat insulation-sound proofing of constructions, equipment and pipelines.

Light fiberglass ISOTEC Mat mats are made according to the patented TEL technology. These mats are the most preferable material for the heat insulation-sound proofing.

An ordinary mat having mainly lengthwise pointing of fibres, when installed, fits loosely to the convoluted surface forming calender cuts, which can be removed by additional contraction and reduction of the mat thickness only. This disadvantage results in the necessity to increase effective thickness of the insulation.

Flexible fibered heat insulating glasswool products, which can be coated with aluminium foil and glass-fibre mat (ISOTEC Mat Light), supplied rolled in the rolls.

PACKING

Mats are packed off and rolled in the rolls. Each roll along its cylindrical surface is packed into the polyethylene film, then the polyethylene film edge is glued and fused. The containerettes are collected in a “module” packing, the “modules” are packed in a “multipack” packing .

The “multipack” packing is a block including a certain number of the “modules” piled up on a pallet and wrapped up with uniform packing material, pointed in a manner specified by the manufacturer.

ISOTEC Mat are deprived of this disadvantage, they have corrugated, mainly vertical pointing of the fibre and therefore are easily bent. When installed on a convoluted surface, the ISOTEC Mat material does not form calender cuts and air pockets fitting closely to pipe the surface and practically fully maintaining the declared thickness.

This is one of the basic advantages of ISOTEC Mat, which makes these materials identical to significantly more expensive plate mats.
