BOILER AND AUXILIARIES

1.1 GENERAL SPECIFICATION

Boiler is a subcritical reheat, single furnace, single reheat forced

circulation, balance draft, dry bottom, suspension type coal fired boiler. It

is equipped with two 50% capacity primary air fans to supply to primary

coal and hot air, pulverizing system has 6 double inlet and outlet tube

mills, with 5 mills in operation and 1 standby. It has parallel flow burners

in before lower corners. The furnace is tangential firing type with one

layer of light oil gun and three layers of heavy oil guns in every corners of

boiler. The boiler is designed to produce 2028 tones/hour steam at 17.5

MPa pressure and 541®C at MCR capacity with coal having high heating

value of 3300 kca/kg.
