In 1907 William A. Waterman started a small sheet metal shop in San Jose, California, it was in San Jose that he started to manufacture his first distribution gates for control of irrigation water in the Orchards around the city. In 1912 Mr. Waterman formed the W.A Waterman company, whose first products were designed to aid in the distribution of irri-gation water to the newly planted orange groves in the area, other products were steadily added for different corps. Mr. Waterman’s were well received and the company eventually had customers all over the states.
In January 2001, a fourth generation become the owners of Waterman industries, the new owners installed a manage-ment team that reflected the company wishes to focus the business on its core competencies. Waterman currently em-ploys about 250 people in the manufacture of components for the vital system of food production and ecological waste management, and market throughout the world. It is Water-man goal to continue to provide the best possible service and equipment to these markets while maintaining its tradi-tion of family involvement in the vital business. MATERIE PLASTICHE
Specialisation. A total quest for quality in technology and research. A focused approach to both customer require-ments and all aspects of company management, including respect for the environment. These are MPB’s guiding prin-ciples which they have followed since 1977 and have en-abled them to be come one of the leading Italian manufactur-ers of performance polyethylene compounds.
MPB offers timely and efficient production and services by means of continued investments in both infra-structure and technology in their factories located in Rovato and Cazzago San Martino near Brescia in the industrial heart of Lombardy. For MPB, “Quality” is not a paper commitment, but rather a precise and verifiable rule book that regulate company organi-sation, logistics of the work place, valorisation of human re-sources and all other aspects of procedures, production con-trol and service. MPB’s quality system procedures are recognised by UNI-EN-ISO 9001/IQ Net Certification. MPB Catalogues and Data Sheets are available upon re-quest. PTI Technologies limited

AQUASYSTEM International
The AQUA TURBO was launched onto the market in 1984 and quickly gained recognition world-wide as the aerator with the highest performance in real life conditions, built to an as-tonishingly simple design. The AQUA TURBO functions as an open pump. The mixed liquor of wastewater and activated sludge enters via the suc-tion cone. The unique AQUA TURBO SCREWPELLER pumps the liquid axially up through the cylindrical Pump house, bends the liquid flow from axial to radial, and ensures that maximum kinetic energy is transferred to the water sur-face.
The SCREWPELLER is designed to transfer the maximum kinetic energy to the water whilst achieving maximum per-formance in pumping and oxygen transfer. Due to the design of the SCREWPELLER the forces on the bearings are very low, so standard bearings can be used. The AQUA TURBO surface aerator is a “non-clogging” type. AQUA TURBO achieves a low energy consumption because of the high oxygen transfer that it produces in steady state or real working conditions.
Compared to other aeration systems, the AQUA TURBO of-fers many important advantages:
- Low investment cost for the complete installation - Simple and quick installation - High oxygen transfer efficiency - Maintenance is limited to one or two lubrications a year.

VITKOVICE-ENVI. a.s
In 1810, Scottish engineer John Baildon prepared a plan to build aniron works center in Ostrava. Olomouc archbishop archduke Rudolf Jan supported the plan, and the foundations of the Vítkovice Iron Works were laid in 1828.
Franz Xavier Riepl, a professor of the Vienna Polytechnic Institute responsible for implementing the steam railway pro-ject from Vienna to Krakow (stopping in Ostrava) also sup-ported the plan. In 1843, the strongest of the stakeholders of the Vítkovice Corporation, Salomon Mayer Rothschild, bought out the shares of the Olomouc Bishopric, and inte-grated it with the local coalmines he had also purchased. The iron works had its own blast furnace plant with a foundry, a puddle plant, rolling mill, forge, boiler shop, machinery shop, brick production shop, and other shops.
Under the Rothschilds, new shops and production programs were added to further the development of the works. In order to meet the growing demand for railway rails, the Anselm Rolling Mill Plant was built in 1847. A third blast furnace was added in 1856. A new method of iron refining, known as the Bessemer process, was introduced in 1866. In 1872, a new Scottish blast furnace was installed, at that time the larg-est of its kind in the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy. The ma-chinery shop built steam engines, bridges, railway wagons, mining machines, steel plant mach railway wheels and rail switches.

PRAESTOL flocculants are organic, synthetic, macromolecu-lar and water-soluble polyelectrolytes based on polyacryla-mide and can be used wherever effective liquid / solid sepa-ration is desired. Generally speaking, this involves clarifica-tion of liquids by removing suspended solid particles from the liquid phase. The flocculants are used to clean municipal and industrial wastewater, to treat process and circulation water and to clarify raw or surface water in order to produce industrial or drinking water. PRAESTOL flocculants accelerate sedimentation or flotation of suspended solid particles and significantly improve the dewatering of thickened sludge during static or mechanical dewatering processes.

3. Industrial Waste Treatment Plants Experience
Many industrial plants owners in the World are now well aware of the environmental/ pollution control and rigid requirements that is being put forward by the local government for the protection of the environment. The water effluent of each industrial process plant has now had to be treated before it is disposed of in the river, sewer, and lagoons or nearby sea.
Tech Universal is playing a major role in the envi-ronment and pollution control where it has diversified its design and activities using physical, chemical and biologi-cal design treatment to include the industrial effluents treat-ment plant ensuring that effluent quality is meeting the re-quired standards. Tech Universal are able to supply engineering, design and fabrication of treatment plants for water coming from several industrial processes. Since this treatment has a wide range of design that depends on the type of raw effluent to be treated, Tech Universal reserves the right to amend its design using updated technologies. Listed below are the type of effluent that the company is ready to treat. However, we would prefer to carefully study each case thoroughly. Tech Universal comprehensive design and treat-ment of industrial wastes includes treatment plants for the following industries:
(a) Pulp and Paper Industries (b) Dairy Industries (c) Tanneries and Taweries (d) Textile Industries (e) Slaughter Houses (f) Ceramics Industry (g) Fruit and Vegetable Processing (h) Potato Processing (i) Poultry Processing (j) Fish Processing and Canning (k) Metal Plating Industries (l) Paint Industries (m) Refineries Waste (n) Sugar Industries Tech Universal unique design of such industrial waste treatment plants allow further the reuse of the water for agriculture, irrigation, industrial purposes, etc., hence, helping to reduce water cost by proper treatment and water re-circulation. For activities, higher production size plants or complex industrial water treatments, Tech Universal have collaboration agreements with first class European Compa-nies, these agreements allow us to supply with full guaran-tees the above-mentioned services and products.
