Regenerative

• Creates or adjusts the plan

• Considers or reconsiders each dependency between resources

• Includes the bills of materials (BOMs)

Net Change

• Obtains a picture of the affect of current changes

• Only immediate changes are considered

• Less time to process than running a regenerative plan

Static Plan

• The static plan does not change until master scheduling is run

• This plan frequently serves as an operating plan for company personnel

Dynamic Plan

• The dynamic plan updates every time that the master data changes

• Updates can occur, for example, when a new sales order is created
