The last week we won one of the best games we had never p l ayed . We won to the Tecnológico de Monterrey Campus Aguascalientes, 2-0. Both goals were scored by Daniel Becerra, our football striker.

It was Friday 29th. The game started at one o´clock in Aguascalientes, so that the players gone from de campus at eleven o ´clock, for arrive in good time. They arrived at twelve and a half. Just in time to test the field and the campus.

And then….. The game started, the first 10 minutes were so boring, the game looked like ping pong game, the goalkeepers only hit the ball from one side to another. But in one of those mistakes that the Aguascalientes ´ goalkeeper used to do, Daniel Becerra scored the first one at 27´. Anybody couldn´t believe, everybody expected that the goalkeeper stopped that shooting, without aim and strength, but this is football, everything is possible. The first half had been finished and that was all.

The second half was started and nobody made a change, both teams were with the same players. This half was more

exciting that the first one. Our team made a lot of good moves, so much so that Daniel Becerra appeared again and scored the second one, 2-0. That was amazing, in a free shooting, the ball had very good aim. The other team had very good opportunities but our goalkeeper Alfonso “Poncho” Acosta was better.

The game ended and they rise their arms in symbol that we won. Everybody celebrated our victory.

The history of the Tec de Monterrey emerged From the dream of the Engineer Don Eugenio Graza Sada on 1943, he fight to create an educational institution, an institution that stood firm and become one of the greatest high school and college in Mexico and the world.

On 1944 the number of students on ITESM was from 350 to 452, and only they had thirty-three professors. That year ITESM start the school activities, the first social group of student had been creating and the sports activities too (soccer, tennis and basquetball).

Sixteen years later ITESM count with more than 4,458 students from 19 different countries and in all the campus of the Mexican Republic.

Today ITESM celebrates more than 70 years since its founding, with more than 70 thousand of students in the entire world and with over 30 campuses in operation. This was the dream of Eugenio Garza Sada, a man

that doesn´t live to see the empire that he create with only an ascender desire. The incrise of student is from 350 to 70 thousand students on 70 years, this is a huge step for an amazing proyect, and we hope that Tec de Monterrey never stop dreaming big things.

Every year the Technological of Monterrey organizes a “Half dinner” with the purpose of collecting money to buy food and rent a truck for transportation and distribution of foodstuffs in the most deprived areas of the city.

This event takes place inside of the buildings of the Technological of Monterrey, in where people interested in contributing to this cause pay a ticket with which funds are raised and given a simple dinner but full of fun activities organized by the

students themselves on campus.

For give more attraction to the event this year as the previous ones, the Tec Dance Company is going to present a program of choreographs directed by Marcia Damián dance teacher performed during the semester.

Some students are going to help with the waiter services, music, lights etc... It´s creates an atmosphere of cooperation and awareness for the students and for the people that will attends to this event.

The date for this event approaches this 5th of September 2014.

!!The secret friend Objective: To create an atmosphere of fellowship and integration. Material: small papers. Development: The first gave a workshop or course, asked participants to each write their name on a paper, a dedicated staff and some Featu guitar (like things you like, etc.) Once that all participants have written their names are put in a bag or something similar and Mix all the papers; then each person draws a slip luck, without showing it to anyone; elnombre this corresponds to writing to be his "secret friend." Once everyone has their secret friend, explained that during the time that we work together we must communicate with friends the secret so that it does not recognize us. !

DYNAMICS!!!Hearts Objective: Exercise ice breaker to integrate a new group Participants: 40 people. Preparation: 20 white sheets draws a heart in the center, using red marker. Sheets with two tear hearts. They tear so they are their jagged edges, making a total of 40 parts, one for each participant. !Rules: a) papers are placed in the center (well mixed) on a table b) participants were each asked to remove a piece of paper c) Then seek the partner who has the other half, which is an exact match d) When meeting the couple should talk for 5 minutes about the name, personal details, tastes, experiences, etc. e) When time is up, they return to the larger group, to introduce each other and share their experiences.

Pumpkin Ginger Cupcakes Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 (3.4 ounce) package instant butterscotch pudding mix 2 teaspoons baking soda 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves 1/3 cup finely chopped crystallized ginger 1 cup butter, room temperatura 1 cup white sugar 1 cup packed brown sugar 4 eggs, room temperatura 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree !Directions: Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease 24 muffin cups, or line with paper

muffin liners. Whisk together the flour, pudding mix, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, ground ginger, allspice, cloves, and crystallized ginger in a bowl; set aside.

Beat the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar with an electric mixer in a large bowl until light and fluffy. The mixture should be noticeably lighter in color. Add the eggs one at a time, allowing each egg to blend into the butter mixture before adding the next. Beat in the vanilla and pumpkin puree with the last egg. Stir in the flour mixture, mixing until just incorporated. Pour the batter into the prepared muffin cups.

Bake in the preheated oven until golden and the tops spring back when lightly pressed, about 20 minutes. Cool in the pans for 10 minutes before removing to cool completely on a wire rack.

The students of 5 semester of Tenologico de Monterrey Campus Leon, will have their graduation trip in the city of New York on October 27 , this trip is organized by the principal Laura Huerta generation, all students are really excited because this trip is very important for all of them, because is very important stage in their life, and may become closer as a generation. The trip will last a week, where they will be full in the activities, know many museums, plays and of course the Statue of Liberty, the journey will be divided in two flights one on October 27 and the other on October 28 as they are approximately 100 students who will be traveling, and those two flights so we can all go and been able to fit occupied. This experience will be unique and rememberable because a trip for all of these is to remember life because you're with people you important connivence in a stage for three years. The return will be on 1 and 2 November in a weekend and will be the city of Leon des for a long, extraordinary journey.

There a re a l o t o f ac t i v i t i e s and opportunities that the tec gives you because they want us to improve our team work and to be good leader. !The first activity that I'll mention is about a group of people that help other people to make life better, the name of this is student group, and at the high school there are 5 groups that are in the same thing, the first one is JoLUM that is a group that their

objective is to make Mexico better, staring by social service and donate and they make little events to make conscience on the teens of Mexico, the other group is CLIP, this group is about making the students of the high school more happy and have a little of relax time, they make events to animate the students, CONFETEC is another group, that his objective is yo motivate people to reach their goals and never give up, a phrase that they use a lot is "nothing is impossible" they make event and conference that give information and inspire the students that they can make all the things that they want, there are two groups, but their functionalities are different, like Carnero is a group that makes a event for the new students, to teach them how to make things, the last group is call SIE that the only people that is there is because they win the scholarship and they manage all the activities of the students groups. !There are other activities like cultural, there are 3 that are, dance, theatre and chorus, like there are cultural activities, there are sport activities, like swimming, football, soccer, basketball and tennis. !The school has more activities like the photography, paint, parkour, etc. also has facilities that help you to do more activities, this help the students to do something extra, and in the curriculum appear the thing that they do. !!!!

!The entrance to the event is free, and the only thing that the spectators need to do is bring a warm coat with them because it is outdoors and have fun.

Each year in the city of León Gto after Christmas a fair begin for a month, it´s known as the “Fair of León”, persons from all over the country come to admire all the attractions in order to get out of their normal lives and just have fun with the roller coasters and all the greats events such as the dance performance that is organize by the dance company of Tecnológico de Monterey.

Since 2005, the dance company has been providing the tools to the alumnus of the TEC in order to help them to become professional dancers, as a result of the effort that all of this young students have put to the dance is possible to present in a publ ic audience a masterpiece choreography, this couldn´t have been possible without the unconditional support of Marcia Damián. Normally they practice five days of the week, but when they have to prepare events the practice is more extensive, like the performance on the fair days, better known as “Foro del Lago”.

For the dancers of the company is an important event and a great experience that they have, but for participate they have to perform an individual audition. This is prepared moth

“Foro del Lago” is beautiful event in which every year the dance company present a performance with an special theme. The event is at night, so the people can appreciate the fireworks before the dance presentation; that lasts about an hour. The event is called “Foro del Lago” because the stage is surrounded by water so it gives to the event an interesting view. Spectators sit in the stands that surround this beautiful lake and from there they can see the show from different angles.

The last Saturday, we had one of the most exciting games of all the season, versus Cachorros, our big enemy, other football team who plays in Leon, but in another part of the city.

All started very good, in the first quarter, we play very good, with great knowledge to play this game, with great tactic, we were training a long time ago for this game because is not just a game, we put our honor and more.

Well, in the first quarter, we made the first Touchdown and the conversion, we showed them how really we play, and they tried and tried to overcome us but they couldn´t. Except for the last part of the first quarter, they equalized the game, that was really awful.

The rest of the game was terrible for us, we couldn´t make a goal, well, we couldn´t move more than 30 yards, we had very big problems, lack of concentration, afraid to broke us a bone, and the most important thing, the referees weren´t professionals, they preferred Cachorros, it was more than obvious.

In every quarter, Cachorros made, in every quarter, one Touchdown and the conversion. We tried to stopped all the game but they played nasty, they took us from the helmet, what is forbidden, and break the rules, it´s amazing that the referees didn´t something to stopping their dirty game.

The game ended and the score was 30-7, it really hurt us. And now, we are training to be better than them, the next game will be ours.

When people say the subject of choosing your career and secondary school, you think that is a a easy thing to do, or that is so far that you don't you worry, but one main problem of the students at high school the decision of choosing a career, and the thing that you will do all your life, and is a decision that is really important for your future because this step may guide to the person that you want to be, and in this article you will see how the TEC helps you to make the right decision.

When you are at the last year of high school at TEC people start asking you what you will study, and the majority of the student doesn't know what the want to be, and TEC help you with that, in the class that, help you to identify all the things that you like and your abilities or skills, at the next semester you have another class but in this one you make another thing, in this class you can choose one of the career that you want to study and in only one week you have a complete experience of what they do at that career you chose, this class is on the last 2 semesters of your high school, and if you don't like the first one you can change it and the next semester, also TEC give you several conferences and events that present all the careers that TEC as, and with all this you can make a decision, but is not easy. !

!Eugenio Garza Sada was born in January 11 on 1892; he was member of a business family, his father founding the Cuauhtémoc Brewery in Monterrey city in 1890. Eugenio Garza Sada graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). When he graduates from college, he began to work at his father´s company as an assistant in the sales department, having to work his way up. When Eugenio father died he became the director of the company, Garza and his brother Roberto grew the company more than they can imagine in to a conglomerate and instituted various i n n o v a t i o n s t h a t include benefits and social services for employees. Years later Garza founded the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education with the objective of forming highly qualified administrators and technical workers in Mexico. Garza Founded ITESM with a clearly dream, take Mexico to another level. Garza’s inspiration for founding ITESM came from his trajectory at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology , so the desire to decrease Mexico’s dependence on foreign expert help. He wants to form students with an entrepreneur spirit. Sadly the morning of September 17 of 1973, Garza was on his way to work and two men try to kidnap Eugenio. Garza tries to reach for his own pistol but one of the men shoot him and killed to the Garza’s driver and his assistant. On the day of his funeral more than 200,000 people, including the then President Luis Echevarría assist to this tragic event.

Few years later was created the Eugenio Garza Sada Award in the memory of Garza to preserve his values and ideas.

!Only to weeks more have the students of Tecnológico de Monterrey, all the students are preparing their final projects and beginning study for the final exams, this two week are going to be the hardest weeks of the semester because if their have a subject at risk of reprove, it’s the time to work hard for don´t lose this subject. !And for the students of 5 semester the time is finishing por his high school, their only have 5 months to say good bye to the Tec, and enter to the university, their effort of all the semesters were worth!! And alll of them have an important decision to take and this decision ir “what I want to study” and “ what I want to be”, and then of all this the prom partys are coming the best part of all the school! !But now the must to work hard for who I mention before if they have a subject at risk to reprove they need to study a lot and giver the last effort!! Because the Vernaos are so expenssive to lost a subject, and for the students for 5 semester if they lost a subject they can´t be graduated until they pass all the subjects. !This to weeks are so important to all the students, and the most happy for al because the will had a month of vacations and this is one of the motivations to work had and do the biggest effort! Don’t give up guys! !

Directions: Blend the lemon yogurt, vanilla yogurt, milk, pureed mango, honey, mango nectar, and cardamom together in a blender until completely combined. Serve immediately. Ready to drink it.

2 cups lemon-flavored yogurt 1 cup vanilla yogurt 1/4 cup milk 2 cups pureed mango 3 tablespoons honey 1 (12.5 fl oz) can mango néctar 1/8 teaspoon ground cardamom !
