STAR AMBASSADOR
A NEW OPPORTUNITY
STAR Ambassadors aid the Office of Student Success with the Summer, Transition, Advising, and Registration program.
Job specifics include:- Must be a 2014 Supervisor or Team Leader- Be available June 16th – July 11th in its entirety- Must be living in/around West Lafayette and provide your own transportation- May take either morning OR afternoon classes, not both- Be available for two trainings, one in April and one right before
the beginning of STAR BENEFITS
- Hourly pay rate of $7.25- Lunch is provided
BGRI
BGR and BGRi (Boiler Gold Rush international) have merged together to create a better transition from BGRi to BGR and a more inclusive environment for both domestic and international students
OUR NEWCHARACTER
Special Duties:
• Return to Purdue August 9th, 2014 and be moved in by 4 p.m.
• Lead and mentor international students through the weeks of BGRi and BGR
• Help acclimate new international students to Purdue’s Culture and campus
• Facilitating breakout sessions between both international and domestic students
