ACTIVITIES

The Pyramids The Pyramid exercises will help your team improve their time management,

delegation, internal relations, communication and problem solving skills.

When teams arrive at this challenge they are faced with a pyramid of seven large

colored blocks. All they have to do is relocate the blocks from

point A to point B or C.

The only problem is they can only move one block at a time and never stack a

large block on top of a small block.

Message in a Bottle Our Message in a Bottle exercise will help improve problem solving and

communication skills.

A small sealed container must be salvaged from the bottom of a tube. The only

problem – the tube is full of holes!

You will be given some sticks and have access to a tap and buckets – all you have

to do is retrieve the container and discover its contents.

Rhythm Factory From the first seconds of our surprise introduction, to the amazing power of every

guest playing in our Rhythm Factory, you will never look at your colleagues in the

same light again.

Our team burst in, interrupting the speaker, playing high-energy exciting

rhythms - a hint of what your colleagues will sound like by the end!

Then, without any warning, the Drum Master will get everyone sectioned off and

clapping along with different rhythms, a fast impact and exciting way of involving

everyone from the word go!

The Land Raft Land Raft exercises will help your team improve their time and team

management skills.

Teams need to construct a Land Raft which will transport all your guests from

Point A to point B, only using Egyptian technology.

The Rocket Utilizing the equipment that we provide your teams must assemble and launch a

rocket, which flies on a horizontal plain further than the oppositions.

Treasure Hunt A treasure hunt is an active and enjoyable team activity that is based on a list of

questions to be answered and objects to be collected.

Group Juggling Participants form a circle and juggle balls around the circle in a set pattern then

the facilitator introduces more objects into the melee to see if the group can

cope……. At the end of the session all the teams compete at the same time to

see who is the most concentrated.

Boom Voyage Teams are tasked with the challenge of making their own Boom from materials provided by us. They will only have limited resources to do this including Cardboard, Plastic, Tape and cutting tools. In addition they will have a blueprint which may help them achieve success.

The Challenge is for the guests to build a ‘Boom’ that will actually float and will

carry at least two of their team for the gripping finale that will take place.

The Scoop The Teams become as news reporters and they have to cover 3 stories given to them and make a news programs in a comical way.

The Web Web exercises will help your team improve their trust, time management,

delegation and logical thinking skills in a fun and challenging environment.

Teams must navigate through a 3 dimensional web without touching it.

This is a hand on exercise involving the whole team passing each other through

different sized gaps. If you touch the web its back to the start

Big Picture Teams draw and paint cleverly crafted sections of a picture on authentic artists’

canvasses. Communication and co-ordination is critical as not all the information

is immediately available. When all teams have finished, the canvasses are joined

together to create the Big Picture, highlighting the successes and challenges of

working together.

Impossible possible Delegates are split into three teams. Their challenge is to complete three active

exercises under time and physical pressures. The teams will find themselves

climbing through spider’s webs, bridging gaps between land and sea, and making

sense of a mind field.

Corporate Logo Building Build your company logo out of ‘Human Resources’. Each person is given a grid

reference that correlates with a letter or part of your logo. The photographs

produced look great in office reception areas, make fantastic employee gifts and

prove that it is really the people who make a company.

Sweet Factory The sweet factory challenge is a favorite with everyone. The objective is for teams

to build a box of original chocolates within a limited time scale and budget. They

must also create the packaging and design a marketing strategy to sell their

chocolate sensation.

International Stakes International Stakes brings you the excitement of the World Cup, the Derby and

the Grand National all rolled into one thrilling evening of form studying, tactical

betting, result rigging and stewards enquiries. A raucous race night with no real

horses, instead you can bet on your friends and colleagues under live race

conditions. A great fun conference energizer, or lead into the evening’s

entertainment.

Team Torque A fun, entertaining event where teams complete a series of unique challenges to win individual car parts and unusual design equipment. Once they have ‘earned’ all the components, teams are challenged with creating the most aerodynamic mini Formula One racing car ready for ‘pole position’!

Promoting planning, creativity and inter-team resourcefulness, Team Torque’s final

rocket powered race provides the perfect balance of entertainment and

competitive camaraderie.

Oscar Minutes Oscar Minutes brings the glitz and glamour of ‘Tinsel town’ right to the very heart

of your event. Challenge your team to reproduce a famous movie with all the

costumes, props, camera and sound equipment provided – but it must last no

longer than 15 minutes!

A stretching challenge in planning, co-ordination, resource allocation and

creativity. Finish your event by showing the films at a gala dinner, with an Oscar

awards ceremony.

Last Great Picture Show A challenge using planning, communications lateral thinking and effective

teamwork, to create an album of photographs incorporating four separate criteria.

Each team, armed with a Polaroid camera and a booklet of instructions, ventures

forth in search of the photographs in which they will be the stars.

This is a great way to explore a venue or town and get delegates thinking about

ways to visually capture their organization’s messages.

Creative Juices Creative Juices is fast and furious experience that puts business and

communication skills to the test, while giving plenty of opportunity for fun and

laughter. Planning for bottlenecks, adapting your plan and managing just-in-time

deliveries are all required within defined timeframes.

Minefield Faced with an imaginary 200ft deep, crocodile infested gorge, the team have to

get safely across using the equipment provided. This is hard enough but what if

one of the team steps on an unseen mine and has to be stretched across?

A team is a vital unit, working toward organizational objectives and goals, rather than an aggregate of

individuals working on independent goals. Teamwork within organizations continues to be a necessity for

business achievement. The Team Building Assessment Tool – TBAT™ is designed to help the participants

identifying his/her style as a team player. The results will lead to an assessment of the current strengths and

provide a basis for a plan to increase the effectiveness of the team players.
