DESIGN 3 PROJECT: PUBLIC LIBRARY. GREENPOINT, BROOKLYN.

What is the library today?

How do we connect?

What will make us explore a new place & interact?Those are only some of the questions that came up before starting the analysis. The fact is - library has changed and now it has to serve and gather people. The con-cept was derived from a series of view-ports and impressions taken around the neighborhood. The connection of the neighborhood to the city was evident. I explored different views and sketched them. The spatial conditions of the view-port in sketches were translated into col-lages, which later became a 3D model. These products of the analasys became main diagrams and helped the creation of the concept and design. The Green-SRLQW� 3XEOLF� /LEUDU\� LV� D� UHÁHFWLRQ� RI� LWV�surrounding - a space which allows for different kinds of perspectives and views.
