This is aimed at facilitating the taxpayers resolve their queries. The facility is available on all working days from Monday to Friday between 10 AM and 6 PM. The module can also be accessed through a mobile application called ‘AayakarSetu’ on Android phone. CBI Court Judge Shiv Pal Singh, who had convicted Prasad, along with 10 others on December 23, also imposed a fine of 10 lakh rupees on him for two cases in the scam. A CBI counsel said that he was fined 5 lakh rupees for each case, failing which he would serve another six months in jail. The court had convicted Prasad for offences of cheating, along with criminal conspiracy, under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Prevention of Corruption Act. In the case 15 other convicts have also been sentenced by by the Judge Shivpal Singh. He further disclosed that the handing and taking over process is on and the vessel will basically ply in harbour sector. The ships have been named as M V Dugong, M V Padauk and M V Sher Ali. The main objective of the campaign was to disseminate information about various social issues as well as to win the confidence of the people. In the endeavour of A&N Police to bridge the gap between police and the community through community policing initiatives, two cultural programmes were organized by the Police Entertainment Team one at Awareness campaign by Police entertainment team at Car Nicobar Kinyuka and another at Perka village of Car Nicobar. During the program, various skits/ plays were also performed by the members of Police Port Blair, Jan.6 Owing to the speedy action by police team of PS Pahargaon, two cases of burglary have been solved, along with recovery of 840 grams of illicit ganja and arrest of two accused persons. On receiving a complaint of burglary in a house on the night of New Year in which an ATM card was stolen among other articles and subsequent withdrawal of Rs 14,000 from ATM card, the police team headed by SHO Pahargaon, Insp. Sahil Shamsuddin acted swiftly and caught the thief with recovery of ATM card and money. To ensure quality and error free evaluation of the answer booklets, the Board requires a large number of experienced and trained teachers to complete the whole process in a time bound manner. CBSE has always strived to ensure that the conduct of Board Examinations and declaration of results should enjoy the complete confidence and trust of the public at large. Therefore, it is important to address some of the critical issues that have a bearing on the process of evaluation. The Board has relied on the schools to depute and relieve regular and experienced teachers for evaluation work. However, it has been observed in the past that the schools are not cooperating with the Board in nominating/deputing and relieving their regular and experienced teachers for Board's Evaluation Process for full duration. The directions of the Board in this regard are not being followed by the school in letter and spirit. Further, Rule 17.2(a) (xi) of Affiliation Bye-Laws also states that the affiliation of the school may be

withdrawn by the Board, in case of any misconduct in connection with the admissions/examinations/any

Therefore, schools affiliated with CBSE are directed to , ensure that all teachers, teaching classes IX to

XII, for all subjects, register themselves, on the examination portal and fill the teachers database; relieve

all those-teachers for evaluation of answer script who are identified by CBSE for this purpose; ensure that

all teachers identified as evaluators of answer script are given no other teaching or school related work

during the evaluation days so that they can focus completely on evaluation, thereby raising quality of

evaluation; ensure that all teachers undergo requisite training for pre-evaluation mandated by CBSE;

it will be the Board's prerogative to identify/select CNS/Head Examiners and Examiners from amongst the

data received by the Board.

sentenced to 3.5 years in jail and a fine of Rs 5

lakh each was imposed.

The scam is related to withdrawal of 89 lakh 27

thousand rupees from the Deogarh Treasury

between 1990 and 1994 when Prasad was the chief

minister of Bihar.

The 69-year-old RJD supremo, in a written plea

yesterday, had sought leniency from the CBI

court citing illness and old age, according to his

counsel Chittaranjan Prasad.

The RJD went into a huddle immediately after

the pronouncement of the sentence. RJD sources

said that the party would appeal against the

verdict.

This is the second fodder scam case in which

Prasad has been jailed. He was sent to prison for

five years on 30th September 2013.
