La Pitié-Salpêtrière Cardiology Institute of Paris is pleased
to welcome you to the 9th International PARIS TCS-ECMO Congress!
This Congress features the latest evidence on temporary organ support devices for advanced cardiac and respiratory failure.
A specifi c congress track is dedicated to Temporary Circulatory Support (TCS) devices, that are increasingly used by interventional cardiologists to treat cardiogenic
shock due to acute myocardial infarction and end-stage cardiac failure.
The congress also provides state-of–the-art discussions on the indications and results of extracorporeal gas exchange techniques (venovenous ECMO and ECCO2R) for acute respiratory failure.
Cardiologists and particularly interventional cardiologists, heart surgeons, pulmonologists, intensivists, emergency physicians, anesthesiologists, respiratory therapists, perfusionnists, nurses will have the unique opportunity to discuss with world key opinion leaders all theoretical
and practical management aspects of these emerging and very promising technologies
