OBJECTIVEAfter one semester of learning how to use and design in revit, the project for the nal grade was to custom design the home that was built from the bottom up following the book used as the instructional guide. The kitchen had to be redesigned and all nishes had tobe of a custom type, not from the integrated BIM software.
CONCEPTThe conceptual idea that went into desiging this space was to show a fully nished project in Revit. I took this and made the home into a modern air bnb, adding exposed beams, modern furniture, light ooring, and accent colors where necessary.

FACS CLASS DESIGN
OBJECTIVETo redesign the Burney Harris Lyons Middle School FACS Classroom. The space currently had a instructional kitchen and class spacefor 30 students. The Athens Clarke County Department of Education, and our partner Seed Life Skills gave us a real tangible budgetof $25, 000 to redesign with as deemed necessary. The plans are to be constructional and graphical. A presentation was given to theboard for approval. I served as the project coordinator and conceptualizer. The work I did is marked as so in the following pages.
CONCEPTThe “preserve” is to be the new space created. It is a space that encourages and comforts learning of basic cooking and personalliving skills. Given the demographic of this audience, a comforting space is a sanctuary to students. The goal was to give a naturethemed space with modern hints for the new millennial.

CUSTOM DETAIL
With the current lack of storage and organization for the spaceIn mrs. Giles room, HAT designs decided to create a new optionFor mrs. Giles. To open up the space, we have decided to get a Custom cabinetry piece installed where the old countertop Was sitting. By doing so, this wall nook can be utilizied to storeThe students work binders, any materials, and even providesA lock door for Mrs. Giles to use. The unique design of the unit also provides an update to the space.

GRAPHIC DESIGN AND FINISH SPECIFIER
Gender neutral colors that are inuenced bynature are valuable for everyone . When any
gender sees nature, they can both see beauty. A soft palette reminiscent to a walk through a
river forest creates an inspired palette that feels natural and preserved for the students. The
palette allows for students to feel as if they are taking a walk along the Oconee River.
All of these natural items can be seen on an adventure in Athens and in that lies safe, happy,
and comforting memories of the beauty in NorthEast Georgia.
