Taylor Brockman Martin, 21, of Beaumont, died Saturday, December 16, 2017. A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, Taylor was born on January 22, 1996.
Taylor was a giver, never a taker and loved everything outdoors. He had a knack for totally useless trivia-or as he would call it, “fun facts” and loved all sports but especially the Texas Longhorns. Taylor would drop everything to help a friend in need and would give you his last cent if needed to. Tay loved BIG, his love knew no bounds. His family was everything and his friends, were family.
He once picked up a homeless man and took him to Walmart and bought
him shoes. His mama told him that she wished he had just bought the shoes and taken them back to the man. Tay’s response was, “Mama, you gotta quit being like that.”
He is survived by his parents, Elizabeth Drewett and her husband, Randy; Trey Martin and his wife, Nikki; and Harry Coussou, Jr. and his wife, BeBe; brothers, Slade Martin, Payton Martin, and Jackson Martin; sisters, Emelyn Coussou; Jill Buja and Max; Jaime Coffey and Patrick; and Chloe Drewett; grandparents, Jim and Trish Carpenter; Michael and Marcia Creagh; and Sonny and Jeanie Martin; great-grandmother, Marilyn Hearrell; aunts and uncles, Chad Creagh; Michelle Crone and Brad; and Lisa Martin; cousins, Tyler Crone and Tanner Crone; and numerous nieces and nephews.
