TATTOO REMOVAL - Pre-Treatment 1. RECENTLY TANNED SKIN CANNOT BE TREATED! Must wait 4 weeks (this includes natural sunlight, tanning bed, self tanning lotions or spray tanning) or until tan coloring fades. 2. Keep treated area out of the sun for at least 4 weeks prior to treatment. 3. KEEP IT COVERED IF IN THE SUN! 4. Shave area the day prior to or on the day of treatment (if applicable) 5. To minimize any discomfort we recommend that you take Tylenol 45 minutes to an hour prior to your treatment. 6. AVOID NSAIDS such as Ibuprofen/Asprin prior to treatment because they may promote bruising. 7. Avoid Retin-A/tretinoin, Retinols, AHA's (alpha-hydroxy acids) or other topical acid products, as well as, lightening agents on skin prior to treatment. 8. Avoid alcohol 2 hours prior to tattoo removal treatment. This can cause thinning of the blood which can lead to increased bruising and or bleeding. 9. Treatments can be scheduled no sooner than 6 weeks apart. 10. A digital photo will be taken at each treatment to track the removal process. 11. Brand new tattoo's may not be treated until completely healed and must be accessed prior to treatment.
