Asia’s first Integrated Steel Plant in Jamshedpur in 1907 in undivided Orissa, Bihar and Bengal

The early 20th Century Prospecting reports of Tata Steel helped formation of Geology department of Gov of Orissa

Tata Steel Industrial and Mining operations have created self-sustained townships like that in Joda, Sukinda, Gomardih and Belpahar with facilities for Schools, Hospitals and Livelihoods.
