TaskStream is the software DBU has chosen for students to create and submit electronic portfolios. Students will be given access to TaskStream in programs that have chosen to use this software. As a student, you will be designated the author of the portfolio.
Creating a TaskStream account To create a student TaskStream account:
Step 1 – Create a TaskStream Account Go to www.taskstream.com or choose the TaskStream link from Blackboard located under My DBU/Tools and log into your account.
On the TaskStream home page, click the Create or Renew Account button located in the purple area on the top left side of the screen.
Choose to Create (first time users) or Renew Account. Enter your TaskStream key code listed on the information presented to you at registration and click Continue.

Step 2 – Choose a College Choose the College you are enrolled in and click Continue.
Step 3 – Personal Information Complete the Personal Information form. Be sure to note the Username and Password that you have chosen as this will be your log for TaskStream.

Step 4 – Confirm Registration Confirm your registration information. Click the Edit Option to change any information. Click Continue to complete your registration.
Step 5 – Log into TaskStream Click on the link to log into TaskStream.

Enrolling in a Program of Study After creating an account, enroll in a program of study. Click on the link for Program Key Codes to choose the correct code for the program of study.
1. Go to www.taskstream.com or choose the TaskStream link from Blackboard located under My
DBU/Tools and log into your account.
2. Click the Enter Code link in the yellow box on the left of the Home Tab.
3. Enter Program Code and click the Search button.
4. After reviewing the program information that corresponds to the code that you entered, click the
enroll button. If you do not want to enroll at this time click the Cancel – Do Not Enroll.
5. You may now click the Start working with your new program button to see the DRF for your
specific program.
Working in Your Program to Submit Work for Evaluation Work cannot be evaluated or graded by a professor unless it is placed in the DRF (Direct Response Folio) and submitted.
Access your assignment: 1. Go to www.taskstream.com or choose the TaskStream link from Blackboard located under My

1. Click on the desired requirement. The content of the requirement displays in the right
panel.
2. Read the directions for the requirement.
3. (optional) To see the rubric used to evaluate your work, click the Evaluation Method link
for that requirement.
4. To fill out a form, click complete this form.
5. To add work, click the appropriate document type link. (See instructions in next section)
Adding Attachments: Select the type of file you want to add.

You have three options when uploading a file. (Choose the type of file)
1. Name File. 2. Add a Description of the file (optional). 3. To specify standards that this attachment addresses, select the Attach Standards to this file
checkbox (optional). 4. To navigate back to the main program work area, click Save and Return.
Submitting Work:
5. In the upper right-hand corner of the Work tab, click Submit Work. 6. To include notes to your evaluator, enter your comments in the designated field (Optional). 7. Click Yes-Submit My Work.
