Task 36 Evaluation How successful have you been in meeting your brief? I think I have been very successful in meeting my brief because I have followed the task sheet and I have done the tasks to the best of my ability. The task was to create a photo-shoot campaign for a charity using many different equipment and facilities. The first think we had to do was to research a charity campaign and use it to advertise clothing to the general public. I chose water aid for my charity because it’s a very big charity that is continuing to grow and grow. Because water aid is a successful charity and their goal is to help poor families spicifily in Africa to help provide them with water pumps for clean and healthy water because every minute, every day, people suffer and lives are lost needlessly because of a lack of safe water and sanitation. In order to do my task I had to get an SLR camera and a location to take photos for my campaign. Before we took the photos there was a lot of planning before we actually took our photos Like reseching the charity and gathering information on that specific charity I also had to draw sketches to plan what my final images and what they were going to look like in the end when taking my actual photos for my campaign. As a class we had to create a PowerPoint based on the chosen charity that we chose and present it. I have benefited from this a lot as it has booted and my confidence and self-belief to give all my best to this task. How successful are your advertisements in promoting your chosen charity? When going through this process I had to take three images from an SLR Camera and get models for my photo-shoot I got Zakir, Matthew and Jackalyn and I was very pleased with the photos i had took. I obviously took more than one photo and I had to go through a selection process of choosing the best three photos for my campaign. The three photos are below. As you can see from an above they are the three photos I have chosen for my campaign. There is a before and after the reason for this is because for the task I had to edit the photos on Photoshop to make them look more presentable and professional which was a great experience to use this program because I could do so many things to the photos by using Photoshop

For my first picture with Zakir and matt and I edited this photo by cropping around the image to get rid of the horrible background in the original photo, The cropping effect I did on the photo made the photo look more professional and tidy. I've also changed the contrast and brightness to give the photo an effect and look more colourfull.i also added in the logo for water aid in the top left corner of the photo so that people will know it’s a water aid campaign also added in a little text in the bottom right of the photo to give people an insight of what water aid actually do.
For my second photo I got matt and zakir back to back drinking water because it is a water aid campaign so I would need to add in matt and zakir drinking water. With the photo I cropped around the original picture at the top because it didn’t look very professional. As you can see in the edited photo it looks a lot better with the border of the picture cropped from the original.Ive also added the water aid logo going up the left side of the picture. Because I'm advertising a charity clothes shop ive had to add text saying ‘’Charity Clothes Shop Coming Soon’’ to show what the campaign message is all about.
For my third and final picture I cropped the bottom of the picture to get rid of some of floor space because there was too much in the photo and it looked better when I cropped it. I've also changed the contrast and brightness to make it look better than the original.Ive also got a logo of water aid and put it at the bottom of the picture to know what the photo is all about.Ive changed the contrast and brightness on the original photo because it was very pale in terms of brightness and contrast.
