This is an image of the New Boyz. They are an American Hip-Hop group. The are wearing snap back caps, body warmers, sun glasses and high tops.

These images show that both the artist’s and audience’s of the Urban genre are very similar. They are generally the same age, gender, ethnicity, socio-economic group (or at least at the beginning, as successful urban artists generally make lots of money, so will become of a higher socio-economic group). I will use this information in my music magazine by ensuring the artist’s are ‘real’ and similar to the audience. This ensures that the audience can relate to the artists.
