Copyright and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) - definitionsCopyright – 'The exclusive right to reproduce in any form

those works defined in s.1 (1) of the Copyright Designs and Patents Act (1988)’. These include original literary, dramatic, musical or artistic works, sound recordings, films, broadcasts.

IPR – ‘an all-embracing term covering copyright, patents,

trade marks’ and other rights.
