From the whole world view down to our neighborhood, it is without a
doubt trying times. In addition, it is not clear how it will all end.
The first order of business is our Annual Spring General Meeting. While our by‐
laws mandate that our Spring General Meeting be held in April, we will need to
postpone the meeting. Our Board of Directors agree, and our lawyers advise us to
postpone the meeting. We are hoping to conduct the meeting within the first 30
days after the stay‐at‐home and social distancing requirements have been lifted.
On the other hand, no one really knows when these requirements will end. I
am going to research options to conduct an interactive
communications meeting that can satisfy the requirements of
our by‐laws.
We still have an opening on our HOA Board of Directors. If
you are interested in joining the board or have questions
concerning the board membership, let me know.
The Route 59 entranceway lighting saga continues and
COVID‐19 is not helping. The golf course’s repair plans for half
of their parking lot electrical service are still unknown. If this
situation continues, we will have to consider installing our
own electrical service.
As a reminder, if you are a new homeowner, we would
appreciate it if you provide us with your contact information.
Our website has an “Update Contact Information” function

have a limited number of TFHOA directories. If you need a
directory, put that request in the “Comments” section of the
update.

The 2020 Census
Every 10 years, the
United States aims to
counts everyone who
lives in the country. It is
important for everyone to
respond to the 2020 Census
because the results will help
determine how hundreds of
billions of dollars in federal funding flow into
communities every year for the next decade. That
funding shapes many different aspects of every
community, no matter the size, no matter the
location.
What does this mean for our community? Accurate census information is important and
benefits our community the most when everyone is
counted. Census results influence highway planning,
construction and public transportation, how money
is allocated for your local schools, programs to
support rural areas, to prevent child abuse, to restore
wildlife, to prepare for wildfires, provide housing
assistance for older adults and so much more.
Census mailings/notices will be sent out by the
US Census Bureau starting in March. Please look for
the 2020 Census form in your mailbox and be sure to
fill it out and submit your information.
