How does VideoNot.es work?

The teacher sets a video task…

Teacher

Step 1: Open VideoNot.es

Note: Make sure you are signed in to

Google Drive

Student

Step 2: Connect with Google Drive

Step 3: Grant VideoNot.es access to Google Drive

Step 4: Add the video URL and

follow the prompts

Step 5: Press ‘play’ and start

taking notes

Step 6: Share your notes

VideoNot.es is added as a creation

tool in your Google Drive

To summarise:

What happens when students share their work?

The student shares their video notes with the teacher

The student adds the email address and writes

a quick message

The teacher gets an email notification

Example:

As well as an email notification the files appear in

your Google Drive

The files can be accessed in

Google Drive with the students’ names

Example: Names will be on the right

I move the files in Google Drive to my Grade 9 folder in Google Drive

I click on each one and open each file by

selecting the Videonot.es option

I read the file, click on Share and send a

comment back to the student in the same way
