How to!
What you will need:- Cardboard or thick card (top tip - you can even use empty cereal boxes!)- Craft knife, cutting mat, and metal safety ruler if cutting cardboard (adults only)- Scissors (if cutting thick card rather than cardboard)- Pen or pencil, and plastic ruler- Any type of tape, blue tack, or craft glue- Matchsticks, lollipop sticks, wooden dowels (optional)
Step 1:Draw out the six shapes needed to build the house onto your cardboard. See the measurements on the next page!

Step 2:Carefully cut out each shape, make sure to only score the dotted lines. Ask an adult to do any cutting with a craft knife.
Step 3:Using a pen or pencil mark out where you would like your doors and windows to be on your house.
Step 4: Step 5:Using tape or glue, attach the sides of the house together, once the sides are secure then attach to the base. Finally, attach the roof.
Cut out the windows and doors, be sure to only score one side of the doors so they can open and close. Ask an adult to do any cutting with a craft knife.
Step 6:Add features and decorations to your house. Use materials like wooden dowels, matchsticks and lollipop sticks to create a garden fence, window frames, windowsills, or even a veranda!
