On February 3, 2010, the TAG Enterprise 2.0 society held an

open meeting with members to discuss; What is Enterprise 2.0 and what does it mean for our

organizations?

Page 3: Tag E2

The Challenges that Enterprise 2.0 forces us to face include:

• Credibility - Credible sources can be drowned out in a noisy conversation.• Consistency - He said, She said…which path shall we follow?• Corporate Policy/Governance - What can we do, should we do, should we never do?

Page 4: Tag E2

Challenges that are specific to organizations that are embracing Enterprise 2.0 include:– What are the best uses for the tools?– How do we measure the value of these tools?– How to we close the knowledge gap about

these tools among the employees?– How do we manage new diversity tensions

that might be exposed?– How do we monitor the activity?

Page 5: Tag E2

Challenges that are specific to organizations that are NOT embracing Enterprise 2.0 include:– Missing out on gathering vital information

about their customers– Missing potential new revenue streams– Not getting the complete view of the

perception of the brand from customers and from employees

– Rogue efforts that can compromise IP and reputation
