Quick Facts bout Suratun sr#Suratun-Nasr was most likely revealed in Madinah, however, there a

scholars who say it was revealed in Makkah, and Allah knows best!#Suratun-Nasr was the last surah revealed to Rasulullah.#"Nasr" in Arabic means help, and Suratun-Nasr talks about how Allahelped Rasulullah and the Muslims win a great victory!Points to Consider

Suratun-Nasr is both happy and sad...1. Suratun-Nasr is all about how Rasulullah had finished his work of Islaam... (which is the happy part!)2. And about how Rasulullah would soon die and go back to Allah...(which is the sad part).

3.It was the last surah revealed to Rasulullah(saw). When Angel Jibre taught Rasulullah a.s, it was the last complete surah that Angel Jibreabring him..

After being in Madinah for about 8 years the Muslimswere finally strong enough to come back to Makkah. Allah had helped the Muslims win important battles,

and now their army numbered more than 10,000 men.When Rasulullah and his army arrived in Makkah, theQuraysh did not fight back at all. Allah had put fear in their hearts so that they, hid in their houses, or stayedat the Kabah for protection.Rasulullah told the Quraysh that they would be safe aslong as they stayed inside and did not come out to fight.Then he ordered his men to clean out all the idols from the Kabah. This great victory is called "Fatah Makkah",or The Conquest of Makkah. Allah helped the Muslims win all of Arabia!

Once Rasulullah got back to Madinah, people started spreading the news that Muslims had beaten the Quraysh and won Makkah for the Muslims.Then large delegations (that means groups of people) came from all over Arabsay that they would be Muslims, too! It was at this time that Suratun-Nasr warevealed.

Now let's learn what Suratun-NasrsaysFirst, Allah told Rasulullah to look for two signsIn the 1st Ayah Allah told RasulullahTheMuslims would win a big battle with the help of AllahThis battle wasFatahMakkah", This was the first signIn the second AyahThen Allah told Rasulullah Peoplewill become Muslims in BIG groups. Thishappened when Rasulullah returned to Madinah , This was the second sign... After the two signs Allah told Rasulullah to thank Him for all of His blessingask for forgiveness.Rasulullah did exactly what Allah told him to do. He started to praise Allah afor forgiveness day and night. He praised Allah, and asked for forgiveness so that his wives started to ask him why he was saying it so much? Rasulullah to that he was doing it because Allah told him to in Suratun-Nasr.Rasulullah knew why Allah had asked him to do this, it was because his work

prophet was done and now he was going to die and go back to Allah.

Death of RasulullahRasulullah died that day, in the afternoon, before Salaatul-Zuhur, while restingon Aishahslap. She had just brushed his teeth with a siwaak (wooden toothbrushhis last wordswereWith those on whom You havebestowed Your grace, with the prophets and the truthful ones, the martyrs and the good doers. Oh Allah, forgive me and havemercy upon me and join me to the companionshipon high.

At first, the people did not want to believe that Rasulullah had died. Umar eve threatened to kill anyone who said that Rasulullah was dead. He said this beca the terrible sadness he felt in his heart. But Abu Bakr came and reminded them" O People If anyone among you worshipped Muhammad, let him know thatMuhammad is dead. But those who worshipped Allah, let them know that He liveand will never die.

Burial of Rasulullah .TheSahaaba listened to Abu Bakr andprepared to buryRasulullah.They dugRasulullahsgrave inside of Aishahshouse in the exact spot where he haddied, because Rasulullah had said prophets die at the spot where they are suppburied.Rasulullahsbody was washed the next day by his cousin, Ali , with the hseveral other men fromRasulullahsfamily.Rasulullahsbody was wrapped in threewhite sheets, Everyone prayed the Janazah (funeral) prayer induvidually.

So what is Suratun-Nasr about?Suratun-Nasr told Rasulullah to look for two signs...1. The Muslims would win a great victory.2. People would become Muslim in large groups.When he saw these signs it would mean his work was done. Then he would nget ready to go back to Allah by praising Allah and asking forgiveness a lot.Rasulullah knew that after these two things happened he woulddie andhe did; may
