Charles B. Wang is the owner of the New YorkIslanders of the National Hockey League and NewYork Dragons of the Arena Football League, aswell as the creative force and master developerof the Lighthouse, the transformation of theNassau Coliseum and surrounding 77 acres. Heis an entrepreneur primarily investing in new andemerging technologies in the United States andChina. In 1976, he founded Computer AssociatesInternational, Inc. (now CA) with three associatesand served as Chairman until November 2002.

Mr. Wang has been cited by Sports Illustratedas one of the “Top 101 Influential Minorities inSports.” After acquiring a franchise that missedthe playoffs eight consecutive seasons, the NewYork Islanders have been rejuvenated under Mr.Wang. The Long Island business community hasembraced the Islanders. He has used the team’spopularity to integrate it more heavily into thecommunity, creating the New York IslandersChildren’s Foundation, which works to enhancethe lives of children on Long Island. Under Mr.Wang’s leadership, the New York Dragons havealso been a success story on and off the field.

Mr. Wang recently partnered with ScottRechler, of RexCorp., to develop a number of realestate projects that will benefit Long Island fordecades to come, particularly: the Lighthouseproject will include a five-star hotel; condomini-ums; an Athletic Complex featuring four ice rinks,a basketball facility and state-of-the-art healthclub that will serve as the Islanders’ practicefacility and also be open to the public; a SportsTechnology Center; open air plaza; and confer-ence center; and Old Plainview will be a transfor-mation of underutilized buildings and into a tradi-tional village combining townhouses, apart-ments, offices, restaurants, a Hyatt hotel andrecreation space using “smart growth” concepts.

Mr. Wang has invested in a variety of emerg-ing technologies, most prominently in IPTV. He isa founding investor in KyLinTV, which is breakingnew ground in entertainment for Chinese-lan-guage audiences in the United States.

During his tenure, Mr. Wang built CA from asingle product company into a global enterprisewith a complete array of eBusiness solutions.Under his leadership Fortune called CA one of“Americas Most Admired Companies” as well as“Best Company to Work for in America” andComputer World named CA its “Best Place toWork” five years running. In 1998 and 1999,Industry Week also identified CA as one of the“100 Best Managed Companies in the World.”

In addition, he has his own Foundation and isextremely active in supporting charitable causessuch as The Smile Train and the National Centerfor Missing and Exploited Children.

Born in Shanghai, China in August 1944, Mr.Wang moved to the United States with his familyin 1952. He earned a Bachelor of Science degreein mathematics from Queens College and beganhis computer career at Columbia University’sRiverside Research Institute as a programmingtrainee. He is the author of TECHNOVISION II:Every Executive’s Guide to Understanding andMastering Technology and the Internet, whicheducates decision makers about taking advan-tage of the eBusiness revolution.

Garth Snow enters his second season as thegeneral manager of the New York Islanders. A goal-tender with the organization from 2001 to 2006,Snow retired as a player on July 18, 2006 to becomethe fifth general manager in franchise history.

In his first year as GM, Snow has addedimportant players to the team’s nucleus via freeagency and trades, including captain Bill Guerin,Mike Comrie, Ruslan Fedotenko, Andy Sutton,Josef Vasicek, Marc-Andre Bergeron, Jon Sim,Richard Park and Freddy Meyer.

In his NHL playing career, Snow was a veter-an of twelve seasons, including four with theIslanders. He finished with a record of 135-147-43 along with a 2.80 GAA and .901 save percent-age over 368 games with Quebec, Philadelphia,Vancouver, Pittsburgh and the Islanders.Originally selected in the sixth round by Quebecin the 1987 NHL Entry Draft, the native ofWrentham, MA signed with the Islanders as a

free agent on July 1, 2001.

Snow represented Team USA at the 1994Olympics in Norway and at the 1998 WorldChampionships in Switzerland.

A three-year hockey standout at the Universityof Maine, Snow graduated in 1993. In 1992-1993he led the Black Bears to a NCAA Championship,was named to the NCAA All-Tournament Teamand earned Hockey East Second Team All-Starhonors. Snow led the NCAA in victories for threestraight seasons from 1990-1992. During histenure at Maine, Snow was also a member of theAll-Academic team.

At Maine, Snow earned a Master's Degree inEducational Administration and a Bachelor'sDegree in Business Administration.

Garth and his wife Erica have two sons, Glennand Miller, and reside in Oyster Bay.

Bryan Trottier enters his second season asExecutive Director of Player Development. In2006, he returned to the franchise in which hestarted his illustrious NHL career. In this role,Trottier assists in the development of the team'sprospects.

Trottier, who is the franchise leader in gamesplayed (1,123), points (1,353) and assists (853)and is second behind Mike Bossy in goals (500),also has regular presence at Islanders GrassRoots Hockey and team community eventsthroughout Long Island. Trottier was selected bythe Islanders in the second round (22nd overall)in the 1974 NHL Amateur Draft.

Trottier, 51, began his coaching career as anassistant for the Pittsburgh Penguins from 1994- 1997. The following season he served as headcoach of the Portland Pirates, the AHL affiliate ofthe Washington Capitals. Trottier then spent thenext four seasons as an assistant coach for theColorado Avalanche, earning his seventh Stanley

Cup ring when the Avalanche won the StanleyCup in 2001. On June 6, 2002, he was named the30th head coach in New York Rangers history.

Inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in1997, Trottier played on six Stanley Cup champi-onship teams: four with the Islanders (1980-83)and two with the Penguins (1991-92). As anIslander, he won the Calder Trophy as rookie ofthe year in 1976, the Art Ross Trophy (scoringleader) and Hart Trophy (league MVP) in 1979,and the Conn Smythe Trophy as the MVP of theplayoffs when the Islanders won their first Cup in1980. Trottier is also a seven-time NHL all-starand won a total six Stanley cups as a player. TheIslanders retired Trottier's No. 19 on October 20,2001.

Bryan and his wife Jennifer reside inPittsburgh. Bryan has four children: Bryan Jr.,Lindsey, Tayler and Christian.

Ted Nolan enters his second season as theIslanders head coach, the thirteenth in franchisehistory. A coaching success at every level of pro-fessional and amateur hockey, Nolan reached thepinnacle when he was awarded the Jack AdamsTrophy as NHL coach of the year for his work withthe Buffalo Sabres in 1996-97. Nolan is noted forhis ability to motivate and teach and he has aknack for drawing the most out of his teams.

After an eight-year absence from competitivecoaching, Nolan returned in 2005-05 with a ster-ling debut as head coach and director of hockeyoperations for the Moncton Wildcats of the QuebecMajor Junior Hockey League. He introduced 14new players to the team, and led Moncton to itsfirst-ever President Cup as QMJHL champion, fin-ishing first overall in the regular season at 52-15-0-2. The Wildcats advanced to the finals of theMemorial Cup (Canadian Junior Championships)where they finished runner-up to the QuebecRemparts.

Born on the Garden River First Nation Reservejust outside of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Nolan is amember of the First Nations Ojibway tribe.Following his time in Buffalo, Nolan, 48, devotedhimself to First Nations causes, including teachinghockey to First Nations children. His work in thisarea earned him the National AboriginalAchievement Award, the Sault Ste. Marie Medal ofMerit and the Order of Ontario.

He became head coach of the Sault Ste. MarieGreyhounds in 1988, as a mid-season replacementand coached there until the end of the 1994 sea-son. Nolan led the Greyhounds to three consecu-tive Memorial Cup tournament berths, winning theCanadian national junior championship in 1993.

He was hired before the 1994 regular seasonas an assistant coach by the Hartford Whalers forone season before accepting the position of headcoach of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres where he hadhis best success. In his second season in Buffalo,he led the team to a strong regular season, culmi-nating in the Northeast Division title.

As a player, he skated for the Ontario HockeyAssociation's Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds, theKansas City Red Wings of the Central HockeyLeague, and the Adirondack Red Wings, RochesterAmericans and Baltimore Skipjacks of theAmerican Hockey League. He also played for thePittsburgh Penguins and the Detroit Red Wings ofthe National Hockey League from the early to themid-1980s.

Ted and his wife Sandra are parents ofBrandon, a member of the Carolina Hurricanesorganization; and Jordan, a member of the WindsorSpitfires in the Ontario Hockey League.

Former NHL player John Chabot joins theIslanders as an assistant coach after spendingthe last two seasons as head coach of theAcadie-Bathurst Titans of the Quebec MajorJunior Hockey League. Prior to his time with theTitans, Chabot was an assistant coach theQMJHL’s Gatineau Olympiques for four seasonsincluding two appearances in the Memorial CupFinal. His coaching experience also includesrunning the midget division national team for theAboriginal Sports Council in ‘03.

Chabot was drafted first overall by the HullOlympiques of the QMJHL in 1978. During hisfinal QMJHL year in 1982 he was selected as theMost Valuable Player of the QMJHL and was oneof three finalists for the Canadian Junior Playerof the Year. In the same year, his team went tothe Memorial Cup Final.

In 1980, after his first year in Hull, he wasdrafted in the second round by the MontrealCanadiens. Chabot played for the Canadiens fortwo seasons and then the Pittsburgh Penguinsbefore a four-year stint as a member of theDetroit Red Wings. He then spent the next tenyears playing professional hockey in Europewhere he captained his team for three years inFrankfurt, Germany. During his time in Europe,he had the opportunity to represent his country,playing for Team Canada in different internation-al tournaments. He retired as a player in 2001.

Chabot helped form an NHL AboriginalAlumni team that travels the country playinggames that support native youth programs. Johnand his wife Theresa have three children:Aubrey, Kyle and Alexandrea.

JOHN CHABOT

Gerard Gallant begins his first season as anIslanders assistant coach in 2007-08 after previouslyserving as the Columbus Blue Jackets head coach fromthe 2003-04 season to midway through the 2006-07season. Gallant was an original member of the BlueJackets franchise, serving as an assistant coach beforehis head coaching tenure. In 142 games behindColumbus’ bench, Gallant guided the Blue Jackets to a56-76-10 record.

A former NHL All-Star, Gallant went to Columbusafter spending the previous five years coaching at thejunior and minor pro levels. In 1999-00, he served asthe top assistant with the Louisville Panthers of theAmerican Hockey League and spent the previous sea-son as the assistant coach of the Fort Wayne Komets,of the now defunct International Hockey League. Hebegan his coaching career with the Western Capitals, aCanadian Junior A team, midway through the 1995-96season. In his first full season with the club in 1996-97, he led the squad to the Royal Bank CupChampionship, Canada’s Junior A national champi-onship tournament, and a 33-11-11 regular seasonmark.

As a left wing in the NHL, Gallant was a veteran of615 games playing with the Detroit Red Wings andTampa Bay Lightning and scored 211 goals with 269assists for 480 points. Following his rookie season of1984-85, Gallant averaged 72 games and 56 points peryear over the next eight seasons, including four con-secutive 70-plus point seasons from 1986-90. He wasnamed to the NHL Second All-Star Team in 1989 afterposting career-high totals of 39-54-93 in 76 games. In563 games with the Detroit Red Wings, Gallant scored207 goals with 260 assists for 467 points, which ranksamong the all-time leaders in Detroit’s history in points.

Gallant was originally drafted by Detroit in the 1981NHL Entry Draft with the 107th overall pick. Beforemaking the jump to the NHL, he spent two seasons withthe Adirondack Red Wings which also followed an out-standing career in the Quebec Major Junior HockeyLeague. In 188 QMJHL games from 1980-83, hescored 129 goals with 191 assists for 320 points andwith Sherbrooke and Verdun. He helped each teamqualify for the Memorial Cup Tournament, in 1982 and1983 respectively.

Gerard and his wife Pam are the parents of adaughter, Melissa, and son, Jason.

Dan Lacroix enters this second season as anIslanders assistant coach. Lacroix came to theIslanders from the 2006 Memorial Cup finalistMoncton Wildcats of QMJHL. A former seven-year NHL veteran left wing, Lacroix wrapped uphis NHL career with the Islanders in 1999-2000season.

He appeared in a total of 188 NHL games forthe New York Rangers, Boston Bruins,Philadelphia Flyers, Edmonton Oilers and theIslanders recording 11 goals and seven assistsfor 18 points and 379 penalty minutes. Asidefrom the playing in the NHL, Lacroix also spenteight seasons in the AHL, three seasons in theIHL and four seasons in the QMJHL. In 2000, hewon the Turner Cup championship with theChicago Wolves. Lacroix was drafted by theRangers in the second round, 33rd overall, in the1989 NHL Entry Draft.

From 2002-03 to 2005-06, Lacroix was anassistant coach in Moncton. During his stint withthe team, the Wildcats reached the QMJHL finalstwice, including last season's Memorial Cupappearance. Halfway through the 2004-05 sea-son, Lacroix took over as Moncton's interimhead coach for the second half of the season.

Dan and his wife Manon have two children, adaughter Daphne and a son Cedric.

DAN LACROIX

Former Islanders goaltender Mike Dunhamenters his first season as the team’s goaltendingcoach. A veteran of ten NHL seasons, Dunhamplayed in 394 games and retired with a 141-178-44 record, a 2.74 goals against averageand a.908 save percentage. In addition to theIslanders, Dunham played with the New JerseyDevils, Nashville Predators, New York Rangersand Atlanta Thrashers. Dunham also won a silvermedal at the 2002 Winter Olympics with theUnited States.

Dunham played collegiate hockey at Mainewhere he shared goaltending duties withIslanders general manager Garth Snow. He wasnamed to the NCAA East First All-American Teamand the Hockey East First All-Star Team in 1992-93. That season, Maine won the NCAA Men's IceHockey Championship.

Mike and his wife Kate have two daughters,Addison and Kayden.

Scott Boggs enter his second season as the Equipment Manager for theIslanders. He came to the Islanders from the Chicago Blackhawks where hespent the 2005-06 season as their Assistant Equipment Manager. From 2000 to2005, Boggs served as the Equipment Manager for the Norfolk Admirals of theAHL. He also served in that capacity for the Hampton Roads Admirals' their lasttwo years in the ECHL from 1998-2000. Prior to joining the organization, Boggsworked for the Thunder Bay Thunder Cats (UHL) and the Calgary Hitmen (WHL).

A native of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Boggs is a member of the society ofProfessional Equipment Managers. He and his wife Maria have one daughter,MacKenzie.

SCOTT BOGGS EQUIPMENT MANAGER

Richard Krouse enters his third season with the Islanders after previouslyserving as the head equipment manager of the Utah Grizzlies (AHL) from 2001-02 to 2004-05. Before joining Utah, Krouse spent time with the Las VegasThunder (IHL), Jacksonville Lizard Kings (ECHL) and Houston Aeros (AHL) as thehead equipment manager. A native of Utica, NY, Krouse was on the equipmentstaff for the 1994-95 Calder Cup Champion Albany River Rats. He currentlyresides in Oyster Bay.

RICHARD KROUSE ASSISTANT EQUIPMENT MANAGER

Thomas Kitz returns for his fourth full-time season as a member of theIslanders’ equipment staff. Prior to his promotion as full-time equipment assis-tant, Kitz assisted the visiting teams with their equipment needs. From 1999-2003, the native of West Sayville was the clubhouse manager for the LongIsland Ducks baseball team. Before his work with the Ducks, Kitz spent fouryears in the U.S. Navy. In his spare time, Kitz is a Tennis Pro at MuttontownCountry Club and Roslyn Country estate.

Garrett Timms returns to the Islanders for his third season and second as theteam's Head Athletic Trainer. In his first season of 2005-06, Timms served asthe Strength and Conditioning coach. Timms has been with the Islanders fami-ly for longer, serving as the Bridgeport Sound Tigers Head Athletic Trainer andStrength & Conditioning Coordinator from 2001-2005.

Before working with the Sound Tigers, Timms was the Athletic Trainer for theUniversity of Miami (Ohio), where he oversaw the Redskins' hockey and base-ball programs. His experience also includes working with St. LawrenceUniversity, the AHL's Cincinnati Mighty Ducks and the Cincinnati Riverhawks ofthe USL. Timms, originally from Buffalo, received his bachelor's degree in SportsMedicine from Marietta College and his master's degree from the University ofCincinnati in Health Promotion and Exercise Science.

Garrett and his wife Anne were married this past summer.

GARRETT TIMMS HEAD ATHLETIC TRAINER

Chris Schwarz enters his first season with the Islanders as the team’sStrength and Conditioning Coach. He comes to the organization with over 15years of experience in the sports performance and rehabilitation fields through-out North America and Europe.

Schwarz is the former Head Strength and Conditioning Coach with theOttawa 67s of the Ontario Hockey League. He also spent time as the Director ofFitness and Performance at the Ottawa 67's Sports Performance Centre. Amember of the Ontario Kinesiology Association, Schwarz received his Bachelorof Science Degree in Kinesiology from Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS.

Chris and Denise have two children: Paris and Preston.

Naoto “Nates” Goto enters his second season with the Islanders and first asthe Assistant Athletic Trainer. Last season Goto served as the team's MassageTherapist. From 1996-2005, Goto was the Head Athletic Trainer for the NiagaraUniversity Men's Ice Hockey team. During that time, he also worked with theFlorida Panthers as an athletic trainer and was the Tournament Head AthleticTrainer for the 2003 Men's NCAA Frozen Four Tournament. His experiences alsoinclude working at Siena College, the Albany Firebirds (AFL), R.P.I. College, theUSA Cup Hockey Tournament in 1992 and the summer Empire State Gamesfrom 1991-1996.

Goto received his Bachelor’s Degree from Nippon Sports Science Universityin Tokyo, Japan and his Master’s Degree from Western Michigan University. Healso is licensed in massage therapy.

DR. ELLIOT PELLMAN MEDICAL DIRECTOR

Dr. Elliot Pellman has been the Islanders' medical director since 1996. The Bay Shorenative is a co-founder and Medical Director of ProHEALTH Care Associates in LakeSuccess. He is also medical director of the AFL's New York Dragons and the AHL'sBridgeport Sound Tigers.

Dr. Pellman serves as the New York Jets' Director of Medical Services and theMedical Advisor to the NFL. Since 2003, he has served as the Medical Advisor for MajorLeague Baseball. Dr. Pellman is an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine andOrthopaedics at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and a Fellow of the AmericanCollege of Physicians.

DR. DAMION A. MARTINS INTERNIST

Dr. Damion Martins enters his second season with the Islanders. Board certified inInternal Medicine and Sports Medicine, he is the Section Chief of Primary Care SportsMedicine at ProHEALTH Care and is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at AlbertEinstein College of Medicine and an Adjunct Professor at Hofstra University. Dr. Martinsis the Medical Director of the Athletic Department of Hofstra University.

Dr. Martins graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine where he alsoobtained his Master's degree in Exercise Physiology and Biophysics. He completed hisinternship and residency training in Internal Medicine at Georgetown University MedicalCenter. Martins later did a fellowship in Sports Medicine at the University of Maryland.

DR. DAVID S. GAZZANIGA TEAM ORTHOPEDIST

Dr. David S. Gazzaniga brings an athletic background to his work as team orthope-dist with the Islanders and at ProHEALTH Associates. Born in Boston and raised inCalifornia, Dr. Gazzaniga played football at Dartmouth, where he was team captain.Besides his work with the Islanders, Dr. Gazzaniga is the team orthopedist for HofstraUniversity and is an orthopedic consultant to the New York Racing Association.

He went to medical school at Dartmouth before an orthopedic residency at Harvardand a trauma fellowship at Harvard, followed by a fellowship in Sports Medicine atSteadman-Hawkins in 2006. Dr. Gazzaniga recently completed a foot & ankle fellow-ship at Harvard.

DR. ELLIOTT HERSHMAN ASSOCIATE TEAM ORTHOPEDIST

Dr. Elliott Hershman is the Chief of Orthopedics at ProHEALTH Care Associates andhas also been the orthopedist for the New York Jets since 1987. He is also the chair-man of the NFL Safety and Injury Committee. In 1984, he moved from the ClevelandClinic, where he worked with both the Cleveland Browns and Cavaliers, to Lenox HillHospital as an attending physician. He is currently the associate chairman of orthope-dic surgery at Lenox Hill.

DR. KENNETH MONTGOMERY ASSOCIATE TEAM ORTHOPEDIST

In addition to his work with the Islanders, Dr. Kenneth Montgomery is also theDirector of Orthopedics of the New York Jets. Following his graduation from theUniversity of California's School of Medicine in 1990, Dr. Montgomery was a resident atNew York's Hospital for Special Surgery until 1995. From there he served as a SportsMedicine Fellow at Lenox Hill Hospital. In 1996-97 he did a hand & upper extremity fel-lowship at Harvard.
