Your speech can be about anything of you choice. Use the Persuasive template provided to help you write your speech. Then transfer it to palm cards and practice reading and presenting it. Reading - The comprehension passages for this week are in comic form and you must read all the speech bubbles to help you answer the questions. – Peer Politics: Moving On, Heathy Mind, Heathy Body. Grammar and Vocabulary Complete the grammar worksheets – Synonyms are the Same! (Hint: synonyms are words that mean the same friend = mate) Vocabulary is a cloze passage – MP3 Players and Your Hearing. Mathematics This week in Mathematics you are revising your addition and subtraction strategies and applying these to word problems also. Remember with word problems go back and re-read the question to much sure you have answered the question and not missed a step or need to do another step to achieve the correct answer to the problem. PLEASE show your working out. Science, History, Creative Arts & PDHPE You can still do the other activities in your Year 6 pack such Creative Arts, History, Science etc. These activities, you can take a photo and add to your class team. Friday Grid Day –(refer to the Year 6 pack on TEAMS and/or See-Saw) it is where you choose the activities for the day that you would like to do. Remember to send in photos or write in Team post what you did for the day. Keep up the fantastic work you are all doing, and I really enjoy seeing your work on TEAMS. Persuasive Speech
Paragraph 1: Introduction - Topic Why are you writing this speech? What do you want the outcome to be? Paragraph 2: 1st point Make your first point strong, following your introduction.
