CONDENSING UNIT. SIZE AND INSULATE PIPING PER MANUFACTURER'S WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS. COORDINATE WITH EQUIPMENT VENDOR TO ROUTE ALL REFRIGERANT PIPING WITHIN MAXIMUM EQUIVALENT LENGTH OF PIPING ALLOWED. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE EQUIPMENT VENDOR WITH FINAL LINE LENGTHS FOR FINAL PIPE SIZING, REFRIGERANT CHARGE, ETC.
3. FIELD ROUTE NEW CONDENSATE PIPING TO APPROVED DISCHARGE LOCATION. PROVIDE PLUGS ON ALL ELBOWS AND TEES.
4. ALL CONDENSATE IN SERVER ROOM SHALL NOT BE ROUTED OVER ANY ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT AND ROUTED HIGH NEAR CEILNG.
5. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE WALL MOUNTED CONDENSATE PUMP FOR EACH WALL MOUNTED DUCTLESS SPLIT INDOOR UNIT ON THIS SHEET (AC-3 & AC-4). CONDENSATE PUMP TO BE ASPEN PUMPS MODEL ASP-MW-UNI, 1.2 GPH FLOW @ 33' TDH, 1/4" PUMP DISCHARGE, 115V/1∅/60Hz, 39" CABLE. PROVIDE WITH RESERVOIR OVERFLOW PROTECTION SWITCH AND FLOAT ACTIVATED SWITCH FOR ON/OFF OPERATION. PROVIDE 1/4" VINYL TUBE AND CHECK VALVE ON DISCHARGE. INSTALL PER MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS.
6. INTENT IS TO PROVIDE A 3-WAY VALVE CONFIGURATION FOR ALL VAV BOXES AND/OR CABINET UNIT HEATERS AT THE END OF ALL PIPE RUNS.
7. FINAL ROUTING OF PIPING MAY DIFFER IN FIELD THAN SHOWN ON PLANS AFTER COMPLETION OF BUILDING CONSTRUCTION. PIPING SHALL BE ROUTED TO AVOID STRUCTURAL BEAMS, TRUSSES, SOFFITS, ETC.
8. PROVIDE SHUT-OFF VALVE AND COMBINATION SHUT-OFF/BALANCING VALVE ON ALL BRANCH PIPING TAKE-OFFS FOR BRANCHES TO MORE THAN ONE VAV BOX AND/OR UNIT HEATER. REFER TO DETAIL 7/M-202 FOR MORE INFORMATION.
9. PROVIDE BOILER MANUFACTURER RECOMMENDED CONDENSATE NEUTRALIZATION KIT PER BOILER AND ROUTE CONDENSATE DISCHARGE TO FLOOR DRAIN IN MECHANICAL ROOM.
10. PROVIDE LOCKABLE ACCESS DOORS FOR ACCESS TO VALVES IN PIPING AND VAV BOXES WHERE REQUIRED IN HARD CEILINGS. VALVES SHALL BE GROUPED TOGETHER WHERE FEASIBLE TO MINIMIZE THE AMOUNT OF ACCESS DOORS REQUIRED.
11. REFER TO CONTROL DRAWINGS FOR LOCATION OF CO2 SENSORS. CO2 SENSORS SHALL BE PLACED IN ALL DENSELY OCCUPIED SPACES (40 PEOPLE/SF OR MORE).
