A REFLECTION

"...be persistent whether it is convenient orInconvenient ••." 2 TIMOTHY 4:2

It is not always convenient to be a good steward, especiallywhen all the temptations of our busy and materialisticworldget in the way. Now add our own pride and ego into theequation and living a stewardship lifesrylemay be downrightuncomfortable! 'Remember, God didn't call us to becomfortable. He called us to be faithful.

Experience the depths of God's loveand mercy through PRAYING THE DI-VINE MERcy CHAPLET every Fridayfrom 3pm to 4pm at S1. John the Evan-gelist Catholic Church at 271 Winches-ter Street in Warrenton, VA Share in

Join us 7:30-8:30pm each Thursdayevening for Holy hour. We begin after

the 7pm mass with evening prayer.Archbishop Fulton Sheen explains the importanceof the Holy Hour: "Sitting before the Presence (ofOur Lord) is like a body exposing itself before thesun to absorb its rays. Silence in the Hour is a tete-a-tete with the Lord. In those moments, one does not somuch pour out written prayers, but listening takes itsplace. We do not say: "Listen, Lord, for Thy servantspeaks," but "Speak, Lord, for Thy servant heareth."
