EXTRAVERTED The Extraverted side of our brain enjoys

activities, people, and things. Extraverted Characteristics

Act first, think/reflect later Feel deprived when cutoff from interaction with

The Introverted side of our brain prefers thoughts, interests, ideas, and imagination.

SENSING (S)

The Sensing (S) side of our brain pays attention to the senses. Things that are real, and current are important.

It categorizes, organizes, records and stores the specifics from the here and now.

It is REALITY based, dealing with "what is." It also provides the specific details of memory &

can recall events from the PAST. Best improvise from past experience Like clear and concrete information; dislike

guessing when facts are "fuzzy"

INTUITIVE (N) The Intuitive (N) side of our brain pays the

most attention to impressions and patterns. They would rather learn by thinking through a problem then through a hands-on activity.

Events are remembered by thinking about the meaning of the event.

It is easier to look at the big picture and then find out the facts.

It is easier to look at new possibilities then how to make them a reality.

THINKING OR FEELINGThis pair describes how you like to make

decisions. Do you like to put more weight on objective principles and impersonal facts (Thinking) or do you put more weight on personal concerns and the people involved (Feeling)?

world WITH A PLAN and is oriented towards organization and planning

action. Works best and avoids stress when able to keep

ahead of deadlines. Naturally uses dates and routines to manage

everyday life.

PERCEIVING (P) A Perceiving (P) style takes the outside

world AS IT COMES. It is better when things flexible and open. No plan necessary.

Perceiving Characteristics Comfortable without a plan; plan on-the-go. Like to multitask, have variety, mix work and

play. Work best close to the deadlines. Avoid commitments that interfere with flexibility,
