THE CROSS AND FEEDING THE MULTITUDES

I was linking up (Stinging Pearls) words of the Torah with one another, and then the words of the Prophets, and the Prophets with the Writings, and the words

rejoiced as on the day they were delivered from Sinai. And were they not originally delivered from Sinai in Fire.

ST PAUL’S STRINGING PEARLS

These things we also speak, not in words which man’s

wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches,

comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

2 Cor 2:13

1. WAITING But when the multitudes knew it, they followed Him; and He received

them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who

had need of healing.Lk 9:11

Oh, that You would rend the heavens!That You would come down!

That the mountains might shake at Your presenceIsa 64:1

Darkness precedes light; thus we should bear trials, until the knowledge of

truth, shines within our souls.

2. REVEALING

But when the multitudes knew it, they followed Him; and He received them

and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those

who had need of healing.Lk 9:11

Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, That all peoples,

nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion,

Which shall not pass away, And His kingdom the one Which shall not be destroyed.

Dan 7:14

3. HEALINGBut when the multitudes knew it, they

followed Him; and He received them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who had

need of healing.Lk 9:11

But He was wounded for our transgressions,He was bruised for our iniquities;

The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,

And by His stripes we are healed.Isa 53:5

4.HUNGER When the day began to wear away, the twelve came and said to Him, “Send the

multitude away, that they may go into the surrounding towns and country, and lodge

and get provisions; for we are in a deserted place here.”

knowledge, and grants us everything unseen.

5. ORDER

.. Then He said to His disciples,

“Make them sit down in groups of fifty.” 15 And they did so, and made them all sit

Him, being delivered by the determined purpose and

foreknowledge of God, you have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to

death; Acts 2:23

6. SATISFACTION17 So they all ate and were

filled, and twelve baskets of the leftover fragments were

taken up by them.Lk 9:17

He said, 'It is finished!' And bowing His head, He

All who distance themselves from You,

the true Light, will go deep into the darkness of sin; thus, will be unable to

discern the traps set for them along the way.

9TH HOUR PRAYER

O, Who tasted death in the flesh in the ninth hour for our sake, we the sinners, put to death our carnal lusts, O Christ, our God, and deliver us. Let my supplication

draw close before You, O Lord; according to Your word give me

understanding. Let my petition come before Your presence;

according to Your word revive me.
