Inspiration for the Week Mary said: "Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word." A simple trust in God's word allowed the Mother of God to do incredible things. As a humble servant and listener, she embraced her mission and invested herself wholeheartedly in doing what God had asked. Do we know and trust that we are being led? Often, we can feel very much alone and without a source of inspiration, guidance, and love to enlighten our path. God is with us. This is the essential message of Ad-vent and the truth revealed to us at Christmas. We are never alone. There is no need to fear. We too, with God's help, can do incredible things.

We extend sincere thanks to all parishioners and
friends who helped in so many ways to provide a nour-
ishing dinner to the homeless at ImmaCare Shelter on
Friday, December 8. There were big smiles and sincere “thank-yous” from the men for the hot and delicious meal that was served! Please help us as we continue to assist the home-
less and hungry at monthly dinners. The the next dinner is scheduled for FRIDAY, JANUARY 12. As always, we are in need of food, provisions, monetary donations, and service assistance. Questions and/or con-cerns may be directed to Bob and Esther DeLucia ([email protected] / 860.633.8591) or Gary Giannelli ([email protected] / 860.633.2212). Please consider helping in any way possible - the
rewards are deep and the need is great!

There is hope and healing is possible . Retrouvaille is a non-profit ministry and program costs are affordable. Programs are offered nationwide and are held in a local hotel or re-treat center. Costs are site specific due to differences in accommodations and number of couples participating. No couple is ever denied the chance to heal their marriage be-cause of financial difficulties.
