D Type Water tube Boiler

The SZS is a modern D-type water tube boiler design, with gas tight membrane wall construction for all furnace walls including the front wall to maximise heat transfer. Tube manipulations for burner and man door penetration maintains optimum circulation. Two stage separation within the steam drum ensures high quality steam.

The boiler is delivered lagged and clad as a shop-assembled packaged solution including auxiliaries such as an economiser, valves, instruments, burner and control system. The Boiler System uses a proven industrial boiler PLC control system for all control and safety functions.

High efficiency and Energy saving options

3Economiser – Every economiser is offered complete with heavy duty non-corrosive alloy material tube for extended life. This lowers the flue gas temperature and ensures highest efficiencies are obtained.

3Continuous Blowdown – Conductivity probe to continuously monitor the Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and blowdown via an actuated control valve. Minimises blowdown and saves on energy consumed.

3Oxygen Trim – Optimise combustion efficiency with reduced excess air.

3Integral Burner Fan VSD – Frequency converter to match fan speed with air requirement to save electrical energy, particularly at part load.

Weishaupt Burners and Combustion Management

The boilers are offered with exceptional quality burners from Weishaupt Germany. These fully modulating burners offer the highest levels of performance and lowest emissions for standard packaged equipment. The burner has an integrated digital Burner Management System (BMS) that eliminates cams and linkages, even on multi-fuels. This W-FM digital combustion manager was co-developed with Siemens, with many advantages including fault self-diagnosis, elimination of mechanical linkages for air/fuel ratio control and infra-red or UV self checking flame sensor.
