Digestive System

• It breaks down food into molecules that

the body can use.

• Human digestive system is made up of the

digestive tract, which is a series of hollow

organs.

Digestive system

• Inside the hollow organs is a lining called

the mucosa.

• Mucosa – tiny glands that produce juices

to help digest food.

Reproductive System

• The reproductive system involves a group

of specialized organs that produces, store

and release gametes for reproduction.

• The female reproductive system has the

uterus ( womb) where babies develop

before birth.

Circulatory System

• The circulatory system transports

substances to and from the cells, such as

transporting oxygen, nutrients and waste

materials.

Respiratory System

• The respiratory system supplies

oxygen to the body cells and removes

waste from the body.

Nervous System

• The nervous system functions in

collecting, transferring and processing

information via cellular communication

involving nerve cells, or neurons.

Skeletal and Muscular Systems

• The skeletal and muscular

systems provide support and

protection by means of the bones,

and boy movements.

Immune System

• The immune system is the body’s defense

against infectious organisms and other

invaders. The immune system is made up

of a network of cells, tissues, and organs

that work together to protect the body.
