Ian is a highly experienced, UK trained, Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 30 years experience in Canada, in the construction/land development industry. He has worked on major projects in the UK, Bermuda, Canada and Qatar. Ian was the CEO of a major land development company for 12 years and has won various awards for the design/build and revitalisation of various municipally owned properties in Toronto. He has recently returned to Canada from Doha, Qatar where he managed a large team of quantity surveyors on infrastructure projects including hospitals, health care centres, schools, parking structures, hotels, apartment buildings and palaces. Ian has significant experience in acquisition and planning, budgeting, estimating, contract/commercial management, claim preparation and expert witness testimony. He is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a professional Quantity Surveyor.
