Abstract

Description:

This project deals with the Courier Tracking And Distribution System.

The system is used for daily activities such as booking a courier, maintain employee details,

maintain hub details, maintain company details etc,..

PURPOSE OF PROJECT

This project deals with the Courier management. The system is used for daily

activities such as booking, distribution, non delivery, out return, company details, and pickup

centers etc.,. It is very difficult to do this process manually. ence it is recommended to

computeri!e the process by developing the relative software as the world is turning into

information and technology" computeri!ation becomes necessity in all walks of life.

Existing System:

The existing system is not totally automated. Though the system is computerized

to a particular extent, it has to do a lot of manual work.

The different processes involved are:

To maintain details of bookings manually.

To maintain details of the incoming couriers.

To maintain returns details.

To maintain out return details.

Proposed System:

The proposed system helps Courier Company to smooth their daily

activities. This software will take care of booking, charges calculation, receipt

printing, daily collection details, employee attendance, product and letter

segregation based on their pincode etc., o ultimately this software help them to

manage all day to day activities.
