Klingon Fleet: An Interview with the New COBy Zethen

Q: So the Klingon Fleet just became a separate

division up from a sub-division of tactical and you were

elected as its leader, why did you decide to take on

this role?

A: I have liked playing Klingon from the beginning. I

saw an opportunity to build a strong Klingon force, and

with @lambogini's help, we hope to make that come

true!

Q: I know you a relatively new to this fleet and

Lambogini has been around for quite awhile. Anyreason why you two decided on you as the

commanding officer, any previous experience?

A; I did work with the Klingon's in my former fleet.

Started to build it before I left. Lambogini and I

discussed it, and he wanted XO versus CO. Plus, we

work well together. I would say we are at the same

level...it's just a title.

Q; A great way of putting it, and great to see we have

someone experienced heading this division, what plans

do you have for the Klingon fleet right now?

A: We are working on growing the PvP team, STFmissions, and currently checking out the new missionscoming with season 2. Also want to build thefleet...helping level, and getting to BG5 and beyond.

Q: Its great to seeyoure helping new players in the

fleet, as I know from personal experience it can be

rather difficult ha ha. I saw there is now a scheduled

event for leveling help, can you elaborate on that for

the readers?

A: Tuesday is Klingon day. Any available staff

members will be on the Klingon fleet, helping new

people level as we as getting to know the Command

staff. We are using it to grow interest in the Klingon

fleet, and get people over there!

Q: Great to see we also have someone so

enthusiastic about getting everything moving with

this new division, anything else you would like to say?

A: Come join us in the "House of Synergy We are

looking forward to fighting with you or against you!

Narrator:: Stardate 8675309.1, we have landed on LV-426 and found the colonist have been in contact with

some sort of creature that complies with Lt. Ripleys report about some sort of creature with acid for blood. A

few members have started a drug lab here using the acid as a base for a new drug called....

Cpl.Pyle:: "Hey man, we're supposed to be searching for aliens!"

Cpl.Pyle:: "Not building a drug lab on this rock with its constant hurricane force winds and constant rain."

Pvt.Cheech:: "I'm not building a drug lab...its the future for the alpha quadrant."

Cpl.Pyle:: "Alpha Quadrant??, what the hell are you rambling about?"

Pvt.Cheech:: "Well, I figure if you take this blue pill you'll fall asleep and wake up here all wet and cold. But if youtake this red pill...well...you'll wake up in another ripple in the space time continuum called the alpha quadrant."

Cpl.Pyle:: "I heard about people like you man...you're a total section 85 and 3/4's. Aw man you are really out

there, you are like gone in 59.9 seconds man, I mean POOF!!"

Pvt.Cheech:: "Calm down dude, Hey! Just relax!"

Cpl.Pyle:: "And what do you intend to call this drug that sends you to this alpha quadrant?"

Pvt.Cheech:: "Hmm...umm....ahh, here we go."

Cpl.Pyle:: "You gonna call it....Coffee? I think the people from Fokkers will have something to say about that."

Pvt.Cheech:: "No! you idiot, we take the s from the label "Fokkers", then we add it to the word "Energy" in the

logo, and whammo! you've got the birth of....Senergy! Hmmm...Best to make it unique. I got it; we'll call

it...."Synergy"! Hahahaha....purrfect! Synergy is born; people will flock to it for a better experience than in this

universe.

Cpl.Pyle:: "What should we do about the corporation that makes the coffee?"

Pvt.Cheech:: "I dunno.....go meet the fokkers...."

Narrator:: And so, that's how the best fleet in the alpha quadrant was created.

A Twisted Tale

A Two-Part Character Biography By Zethen


Zethen Astorias was born in a small town in what

used to be the eastern United States (what you

could call small by 24th century standards) as the

only son of a retired Starfleet captain and his wife.

Growing up in a small rural setting Zethen would

always strive to reach the stars, he would always

pester his father to tell him tales of his life as a

Starfleet captain, though his father always bluntly

refused retreating to his work office. Zethen always

wondered why his father always acted that way at

the mention of his career in Starfleet, but even at his

young age he respected his fathers wishes andnever bothered him further.

Around a month after Zethen had turned 8 while he

was dabbling around with his fathers tricorder, His

familys house was broken into by a group of

renegade Klingons who had come to earth to seek

revenge on Zethens father for an act he had

supposedly committed against them during his time

in Starfleet. Both his father and mother were

murdered that night in cold blood, in fact

disintegrated by the Klingons disruptors , Zethen

was hiding under his bed, which incidentally his room

was protected from outside scanners with a new

Starfleet technology apparently his father had

known an attack may have come.

The following years were plagued with trouble for

Zethen, he had moved to live with his uncle who had

never served with Starfleet and resented his brother

for joining with them, felt all of Starfleet was aconspiracy. With the stress from his new lifestyle

and depression from the death of his parents,

Zethen ran from his new home, trekking across to

San Francisco to the home of Starfleet..

He arrived at the then age of 13, arriving he broke

down in tears of joy, of relief. Which were noticed by a

passing pedestrian, who stopped to ask if everything

was ok. Zethen in a flurry explained everything, he was

then shocked to learn the man was of Starfleet, a

commander in fact. He told young Zethen that his

name was Link Hylias, and that he would help him and

that he believed everything he had said. Link took him

to the Starfleet headquarters in San Francisco and

therethey explained the story. Zethens Uncle was

notified, and was told that he was not fit to care for

Zethen and that his custody of him had been revoked.Link now felt responsible for young Zethen and took

him under his wing, honing his already natural talent to

lead and teaching him Starfleet basics.

At age 19, Zethen parted ways from his mentor after

passing his Starfleet academy entrance exam. Now

alone without his mentor Zethen struggled in his first

year at the academy, getting into trouble at one time

for attempting to contact Link during an exam, which

in an ironic twist as soon as he contacted Link, Link

contacted the instructor and ratted Zethen out.

Zethen learned from his experiences in his first year

and excelled in his second year. It was also in this yea

that the Federation had its first battle with the Klingon

Empire; Zethen secretly cheered on the death of every

single Klingon, his hatred growing.

While at the academy Zethen showed to be one of the

most intelligent tacticians that Starfleet had ever

come across, as well as showing superior leadership

capabilities than most in the academy. He had beencompared to the greatest tacticians of the old earth.

His skills proved so useful that the need to get him to

the field of the battle became increasingly important

(the war with the Klingons had been stressed with the

reappearance of the Borg). At his graduation his

mentor gave him the some advice that he used as his

modo of sorts Dont let anything stand in your way,

you are Starfleet, you are history.
