MEET THE TEAM

After selling his successful property business agency where he led a team of 125 employees, Marcel M Hoogebeen left the Netherlands to pursue new prospects in South Africa.

Since his arrival in the Western Cape in 1996, Hoogebeen has been involved in a wide range of projects within the industry, including development origination, consulting to developers, residential property sales, property management and establish-ing and nurturing relations with European and local investors.

Leon Büter entered the property market in 2001 and started BÜTER Properties as a sole proprietor.

This business grew and continued to excel, even despite challenging economic conditions brought on by the recession. It was during the recession period that Büter registered with the NHBRC and started managing residential building projects for clients.

BÜTER Properties also boast an upmarket rental portfolio that was established to ensure developments catered to a specific tenant base. Since 2006 Leon has been dedicated to marketing and sales management of new developments.
